Amtrak Pacific Surfliner from Santa Ana to San Diego Sep 2023

We took the train, Amtrak Pacific Surfliner (double decker) from Santa Ana to San Diego. Santa Ana train station was closest to our hotel in Huntington Beach (30 mins car ride). The station is very cute old style. Mainly for the local Metro Link trains. Our Train came on time at 4:01pm and stopped for a minute and a half. Not many passengers so enough time to board our luggage. There was enough space to put our suitcases inside (there was no need to tag. The best view of the coast is from the top right side, hence highly recommend sitting there . First stop was Irvine. And then lots of other stops where people got off to go to the beautiful beaches. Conductor checked our E Tickets. It was a very pleasant, enjoyable and scenic train ride. San Diego has two stops, first comes old town, which is the down town, but we got off at the last stop Santa Fe rail depot.
