I’m the guy in the red… (not really but… figuratively) I go to Disneyland once a week and know allllllll the words and dance moves!!! People look at me often and ask how often I go to the parks!!! 😂 it’s just pure joy and I’m glad to see I’m not the only one!!!! ❤ I miss Magic Happens sooooooooo much and can’t wait till Feb when it returns

Am I just imagining things but I recall Disney used to switch out parades back to back with no interruption period. Christmas season is still a little bit of a ways and we already lose the day parade?
typically what *USED* to happen was, the normal parade would end on Sunday and the Christmas parade would start that following Friday, then the reverse happened in January.
While I can't speak to DL I do remember at MK we used to have both. Of course I was working there back during the SpectroMagic days, when on regular nights we had SpectroMagic and on Christmas Party nights we had the Christmas Parade. They used to switch them out with no problem.
I forgot that Merlin got his groove on on the float in the parade. 🪄🧙♂️🕺🪩. I went to Disneyland on 10/7/23 for my 50th birthday, and it’s been a pleasure to watch this parade in person. Before the parade, there were some characters that greeted us guests. My sister took pictures of me with Mickey Mouse. He gave me a birthday hug & kiss. There were lots of birthday celebrants that day. Casts members in this parade do say “Happy birthday” to people wearing the birthday pin. Some dancers, plus the fairy godmother from Pinnochio & Cinderella, which is my sister’s fave Disney princess, said “Happy birthday” to me in the parade. I thank Disneyland & DCA for the 50th birthday celebration of my dreams last year 🥳😘🎉🎂🎈🎊🎁🫶🏼
