We’ll be installing the ORACAL® Series 951 Premium Cast, Graphic Marking Film with ORATAPE® MT95, Medium Tack, Clear, Conformable Application Tape.
The hinge installation method is a tried and true installation method for any vinyl graphic decal application to just about any compatible surface type. There are several different hinge installation methods, such as a top or bottom hinge, center hinge, or a right or left hinge. The same general concept applies to the various hinge installation methods. Adapt your decal installation accordingly.
There is another great hinge method. Follow instructions, as shown until minute @1:00 . Install the hinge tape only at the upper side. Seperate the letters with vertical cuts. Start with the left letter. Flip it up and remove the backing. Apply it from top (=hinge) to bottom. The first letter is done. Do all remaining letters one by one (or group them in pairs to be quicker). The top hinge can't move. Everyting will be 100% parallely. Works very well on curved and flat surfaces. 💪😎👍 Regards, TOBi
Agreed. I would slit a larger decal, but this size isn't too bad.

I will have put the tape horizontally over the entire length and finished. ;)
Leave the application tape 3 cm above the top of the graphic finish the marking and attach the application tape to the car from the top corner and remove the lower edge of the graphic and remove the paper and paste it horizontally in

if the surface is metalic i use magnets and do the job in 10 seconds :) ..no need for marks and tape..fast and precise ..
