The first Black Panther movie was pure garbage and overrated af. I will wait for a day or two and wait for some reviews before watching the second installment.
My question is, who can beat him? I like him, I was looking forward to the movie till I heard they changed Namor's origins. I find it hard to believe Marvel would make one all-powerful character without a loophole. I love your content, I would love to see you and kinglion have a debate about comics,you guys are easily the most knowledgeable people on comics 😁👏👏👍👍🙌🙌🙌

The only thing the films didn’t show was T’Challa’s intellect, he relies on his sister for a lot in the MCU. Rest In Peace Chadwick Boseman, dude portrayed Black Panther beautifully.
And sadly we'll never see it on live action

I already know that Black Panther is an awesome character, but some of these feats really impressed me. I was particularly surprised to learn he can lift Mjolnir.

His greatest feat is marrying storm. That takes real power.

My favorite black panther feat is during Secret invasion when, he beat and killed four different super skrulls each one had multiple powers yet t'challa overcame each one of them

@@csquared84 You don't know that. They recasted the main star of the TV series Spartacus for the exact same reason. The main actor died of cancer after the first season, and his role got recast. The series went on to do several seasons afterwards that heavily popular to this date. Chadwick Boseman's own brother Derrick Boseman said that they should have recast because it's what he would have wanted. They were very close and he knew him better than anyone he worked with. Plus T'Challa has been around since the 1960's when Stan Lee and Jack Kirby created him. You think it's respectful to those two iconic comic book creators to kill off the character too?
Black Panther is sick, his combat and intelligence is top notch and his King of the Dead ability is awesome
T'Challa was not to be underestimated at all.
The Black Panther T'Chala, the king of the dead, could have easily beaten Count Dracula or the Living Mummy. That is power.

What is the logic of laying out all T'Challa is, while suggesting he can easily be replaced by Shuri?
maybe in another universe.. cause in the mcu main universe (616), T'challa arc is done. He's dead in this universe. Unless they made it somehow he's not dead or something.

He's truly a one of a kind badass in the marvel universe.
From 30 years since reading Marvel and Black Panther, it's been known that he can only lift 800 lbs or around this range. How was he able to defeat Namor, Thing and others? Doesn't really make sense, so I hope Variant can help me understand this.
I want to know too, Black Panther has to be able to lift way more than that, especially when he can draw strength from the previous black panthers before him

Powerful in skill, combat and influence with Wakanda, always loved him. I wonder if in the movie they will talk about how Wakanda has done some stuff in space

He was onscreen a total of like an hour. That is through all the films. No. They didn't. They didn't have time to. No King of the Dead. None of the storylines here. None of them.

I find it strange that he's surrounded by technology and is a genius but his main power is from magic and gods.
T’Challa has always been my favorite superhero from childhood reading and owning the Black Panther titles. He’s an Avenger too. He’s my spirit animal too. No one but Chadwick Boseman brought life to the character. I hope Wakanda Forever pays homage to him because I wish he was still here playing T’Challa for many years to come. T’Challa is still alive in the comics. His greatest feat is when he married Storm😍🥰👊🏾💍🌹

I hate when people act like specific actors are special. Anyone could have played the character. They need to recast him.
@@freeffree4133 Yeah, I think they should have recasted him and still have Shuri be the next Black Panther anyway. But, obviously they wanted to focus on female centric for their motives. I stick to the comics mostly. They recasted General Ross after William Hurt passed away unfortunately. He’s going to be in Thunderbolts.

I've always felt Black Panther is just like Batman except he keeps a lot of his power-ups. Like tricking Mephisto is something Bruce would do like that.

I had never heard of B&B Theatres before. It looks like the closest theater to me is in Blacksburg, VA. 25 years ago, I lived in VA while going to law school. But now I live in the Bronx and that's not exactly a convenient location for me. I hardly even go to Manhattan theaters anymore because of a back injury. It looks like they have the most theatres in Missouri, which ironically where I was born. My Dad was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood after being drafted and my mom had moved out there to be with him. But they drove me back to the Bronx 54 years ago. Maybe I'll check B&B out if I ever decide to visit the state of my birth. But I'll definitely be seeing Wakanda Forever the day it opens.
As much as I like DC's Batman, I'm starting to like Black Panther more. Black Panther introduces a unique version of OP that isn't seen elsewhere, and that even includes the recent Batman story arcs. DC 'kinda-sorta' teases us with the idea of Bruce Wayne knowing magic, while T'Challa straight up summons the dead...

Shuri was only Black Panther for a short run in the comics so there really isn’t much history to dive into. She has her own feats and has since been elevated to a goddess herself but in comparison to what T’Challa has accomplished, there isn’t much there

Ok, you asking about Shuri... MCU VERSION... I don't know.... Comics version ....you better believe it... Shuri will mop the floor with anybody... she is willing and stay ready.... when T'Challa was down and on vibranium tech life support...Wakanda needed the Black Panther to protect their country. With T'Challa down and out. Shuri's mother, Queen Ramonda, said this... Shuri has the same fighting style, same training she went to the same schools as her brother T'Challa.... meaning she is a mimic of her brother, T'Challa. Now the only reason she couldn't become the black panther is the fact in her heart she saw the mantle as award not a sacrifice. Shuri loves her country and would do anything for her country, but she can hold on to anger. T'Challa can manage his anger and defeat his enemies... Shuri will still defeat her enemies but while holding anger... so the panther god says she is not worthy of the mantle. The panther god said she will give the mantle to T'Challa wife Storm before she gives it to Shuri. Shuri is a bad muthashuturmouth!!!!! THAT'S IN THE COMICS!!!!! You left out he's so damn agile because he has the ability to know where every inch of his body is during movement in relationship to his surroundings. He can literally leap dozens of feet backwards through obstacles while flipping and spinning and land perfectly without ever taking his eyes off his target...targets!

As much feats BP has I believe the writers has made him unwritable in the long run like many other characters. To much abilities left writers with no ideas for the character when making stories for him, the writers have to ignore some feats for story purposes.

i'd like to add that the feat of Black Panther restraining Surfer has been debunked by the writer himself. Black Panther was completely wrong & Silver Surfer intentionally let him think he had the upper hand bc he wanted to know what Black Panther knew about what was going on (bc he was expecting him to reveal some information accidentally while interrogating him). That's also the reason why Surfer is annoyed at Stardust after he breaks up the fight.

MCU focused his intellect into more political than science it seemed. He is a very layered character and while Chadwick was great in the role the fact the character seemingly died with him to me is a shame.
