I was thinking something to do with hollywood and how things have to be so perfect they start to look odd; like we see on tv and in films all of these plastic looking people with really fake looking teeth, after a while it becomes normal looking and normal teeth in contrast look bad. The fat steriotype is a bit different tho i think its a modern thing coz the US has more obesity than ireland, wales or england... not scotland tho!
