I wouldn’t consider myself a RSW player, but this game definitely holds a special place in my heart. All those late nights playing on 30fps back in 2016 and watching RSW gameplay defo played a big part in the motivations for my channel and are memories that I’ll hold on to for a long time to come.

I have never considered myself a ranked skywars player but I used to grind it for gold rewards years ago when I was awful at the game. rip ranked skywars 2016-2022 I guess all things come to an end at some point in life and it was inevitable that ranked was going to be removed. The fact that so many people from different eras have touched this game as well as how the community always evolved genuinely brings shivers down to my spine. Truly, ranked skywars was a game with history which to the average outsider might come across as just another hypixel game. It saddens me that all those memories of ranked skywars and all the people that represented it will eventually fade away as I doubt hypixel will leave any trace of it in the future. It will be like ranked never existed but the truth is that ranked was more than just the rewards. It's the people we talked to, the memories we made and the friendships that we formed that will go on for a lifetime extending beyond the game. In the community we've all had our fair share of differences and disagreements but I think we can all unite for a last minute to appreciate the good times.
