A black one and some 80/20 tires on it, Mad Max attitude in spades.
    Now i want one :)
Imagine in 10-or-so years, when people are going to put a turbo on those headers of the used and abused ones - it will be glorious !

I thought it was ugly until I saw one in the flesh. I now think it's a work of art. I wouldn't swap my gsxs1000f for it though.

    Hi Kate,
This is the first time I've seen one of your videos.
I am in a Hamlet dilemma: I would like to buy the katana, returning my Kawasaki z900rs and I am afraid of doing nonsense. In the sense that mine one has 100Nm of torque against 108 of the katana, but at 6500 rpm against 9500. Furthermore my bike , with the right tires, leans up to the footpegs and allows me a comfortable ride and with the torso erect from the top of my 185 cm.
So, I really like the katana but I'm afraid to trade my eyes for the tail.
Have you tried the z900rs? Could you give me a comparative opinion?
Thanks a lot and congratulations for the channel.
Ps: without subtitles I understand 80% of what you say, but I love the musicality of your voice.

My first bike that i rode, learn n first slide fall was a suzuki RC 80 (1980's production). GSX 750 is one of my dream bike that i probably won't ever own (even if i could afford it the tax in my country for big CC bike is crazy). Heard of a katana bike but this video is the first time i've seen how it look. Interesting but not my cup of tea. This year i found Suburban Delinquent channel n his fav bike is GSX 750, i'm that type of a rider like him. Beat the living shit of my own bike, never had a bike thats not yellowing on the exhaust pipe 😂 .. anyway, your video reminds me of that bike n that memory somehow haha 😂

I had an original Katana and this one looks ok and seems to go well. Would have liked to see a TFT replica of the original clocks, they were gorgeous.
8/10 fair comment, don't like the pipe or the numberplate hanger tho.

I'm six feet tall and about 190 lbs and have been a daily rider in LA for nearly four decades and have owned just over 30 bikes, so I've ridden and seen everything on two wheels, and that one disappointing side effect with modern sport motorcycle manufacturers in their never-ending quest to reduce weight is to make their bikes smaller and smaller. Aesthetically speaking this makes an average-size male look a bit like a clown atop a tiny clown car in the circus. When you see a smaller, even petite-sized person on a modern sports-oriented bike like this, bike and rider look perfectly balanced. I currently own an old FZ1 and a big K1200R, but even on the BMW, I look too big. Sort of a superficial complaint, sure, but who here doesn't buy a bike with its looks playing a significant part in that purchase?

  • @RebelRides

I like this Suzuki Katana it looks nice I think. If I had a bike license I would probably buy one of these , riding positions looks comfortable which I would need as I suffer with back problems. It would have a tail tidy fitted as that looks horrible the number plate on the swing arm lol 😊
