I tell you a little about them, initial impressions, concerns and finish with a rant.

great video, thanks for sharing! I have a few pairs of TSG and am a big fan.. currently working on a pair of 7104s. I got them from Redcast as well and found them really good to deal with. Just two things that might be worth considering - TSG denim is meant to fade FAST so they will start to look good really quickly (within a few months of you starting) but this does seem to mean that they will wear out a lot faster than some other brands - i would be surprised if you got to 2 years with them intact, especially if you are not washing them. the other thing is the freezer trick is total nonsense - it has been disproved again and again - if you are really unwilling to wash them (dont see the point in this personally) then just wear them in rotation with another pair or pairs and hang them out in the air as often as possible... and be prepared for strangers to look at you strangely out in public when they catch a whiff of you :D
Thanks for your considered post. I wore a pair of N&F for 2 years no probs but then a much lower weight. They did get a bit greasy but I think the smell was minimal. That said I WFH so not really an issue for the most part. I’ll defo consider airing them. Have you any advice regarding hemming? These are your standard 36” and I’m a 32”. ‘Stacks’ seem a very emotive topic
@@stuntedmonk the greasy look gets to me after a while - they look dirty even if they dont smell bad so i just fire them in the wash on a short/gentle cycle with some woolite and hang dry every 2-3 months.. The TSGs i got from Redcast were One Washed when i got them so the length didnt change at all and my 34" inseam means that i can wear 36" jeans with stacks or cuffs and they look ok - maybe you would consider getting a couple of inches taken off the length to make them fit better while they are still new (assuming OW) and just stack or cuff them?

Electric oven mate, not fridge. Microbes survive freezing. Not too hot obviously . Fortunately I’m a vegetarian so they don’t come out smelling of sausages 😂
