Soviet song about the heroes of the battle of Khalkhin Gol. It is dedicated to the soldiers of the red army and the soldiers of the Mongolian people's Republic who repelled the aggression of the Japanese army and the army of the puppet state of Manchukuo. The victory at Khalkhin Gol did not allow Japan to expand the bridgehead for a possible offensive against the USSR, which, as historians suggest, was the reason for its refusal to open the far Eastern front in the second world war against Soviet Union.
The date of publication of the video was not chosen by chance - on August 31, during the offensive of the red army together with the MNR army, the territory of Mongolia was completely cleared of invaders. The conflict did not stop there, but Japan's plans for a quick takeover of the Soviet-allied state were broken.
