  • Visegrád was one of the royal seats of medieval Hungary but its buildings were destroyed in the sixteenth century. The ruins were rediscovered during archeological excavations, and can be visited today in their partially reconstructed condition. The Museum of Visegrád presents the historical monuments of the heyday of Visegrád: the Royal Castle and the Royal Palace. For this reason, the virtual reconstruction of the medieval buildings has an important role in the film, which present three distinct periods: the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth centuries.

Dear Hungarians, protect your history from the prejudiced rhetoric of Austrian historians and racists. Before condemning the Ottoman domination of Hungary, read and research comparative history about that period. During the 150 years that Hungary was under Ottoman rule, the Austrians did not comply with the rules of war and armistice agreements, and constantly raided the Hungarian courses. The Austrians plundered Hungarian villages and burned their agricultural crops. Therefore, 32 (20%) out of 166 rural villages were abandoned. Others took refuge in the Turkish guards in the countryside. In addition, the nobles (overlords) who fled to Austria and cooperated with them secretly taxed the people as before with the gangs they had established. Tired of double taxation (they were paying taxes in the Ottoman Empire), they appealed to the Ottomans for protection. Since Hungary was a large land, when it was difficult to provide security, the Turks settled them near strong castles. Hungary was the most important part of the Ottoman economy. The people, who could not do agriculture, turned to cattle breeding. 100K animals were exported to Europe per year. This export accounted for 94% of the country's economy. The people of the region became rich. The Protestant sects, overwhelmed by the sectarian oppression, sought refuge in the Ottoman state. At that time, the Protestants, who took advantage of this freedom, published many books on Christian theology. The people of the region were never forced to change their religion. There was no compulsion in religion in Islam anyway. Hungarians were free in religion and law.
