Tgc really be lowering the numbers of spirits per season. It used to be 6, then they went down to 4 and now 3. Feels kind of lazy and like they're running out of ideas. Which is sad, because there are so many suggestions made by players on how to improve the game and actually add something new. I know dying clothes is like the best thing that has come out of a season for a long time now, but still, it's just another grind that get's added to the game to get more cosmetics. Sky used to pride itself in being about human interaction and connection. I feel like this has been lost, and it makes me sad. They need to actually introduce new mechanics, things to do, things to do with friends. Something other than grinding.
I’m ok with less spirits, as a newbie because having too many spirits can be overwhelming and on top of that some spirits from past seasons have never even appeared so, either they would have to stay at 6 spirits per season and make weekly traveler visit instead of biweekly. I think they are trying their best to balance it out. But I agree on the second part, there are a lot of ideas to make the game more interactive, and I think the Olympic Games were a test run, but since that failed spectacularly they are probably avoiding the competitive route.

I really don't understand why they didn't create new spirits for the season. Like, this is gonna be so confusing because now we have two versions of the same spirit? With completely different emotes and cosmetics?
They're running out of ways to sustain the same old pattern. Maybe they're trying something out let's see. Or maybe it's just a placeholder spirit. Maybe they'll change.

Yes, if that particular Cosmetics allows fully black or some Cosmetics have only select area that can be dyed only these area can be dyed with the color you want ( to make black you gotta mix grey and grey to make it look black)
