Zerker did have hyper armor on release, it's just that it was only if he was in his infinite or used his chain attacks in general, he also had it on his dodge forward light and heavy

1. Majority of the playerbase is console, on either shitty tvs, or not on high end monitors, 400 ms is too fast to a lot of players
2. Things can be unfun without it being broken, hyper armour being a heroes identity is not enjoyable to play against. A good example is sohei, he is horrid, absolutely bottom of the barrel, but people dont like playing against him because of his small repetitive moveset and his one shot, is it broken? no. But that doesnt automatically make it an unworthy opinion.

@RAPTORREX_ I know there's apparently a much higher MMR but I'm at about a 63% WR in dominion so I have no clue what I could do to get any higher honestly
@@bagelbomber4834 4 stacks and rage quitting to preserve stats lol but you don't want to play at higher MMR than what 60% would give you. Once you see your first comp player name, you won't be having much fun until your MMR drops.

Beserker is that hero I play with for a couple matches or so for the fun of it. Although, eventually, his gameplay can get pretty stale. But i still really like his concept of never stopping and bullrushing through other players attacks. Also, wielding two axes is a pretty gnarly combo if you ask me.

Hi, i tried For Honor since open beta, joined in y1s4(aramusha/shaman), played till a bit after pirate release, then left(got bored, simple).
Watched your vids about the main heroes I played - Orochi, Shinobi whom both I played before and after their reworks, Aramusha when he came out, then Shaolin when dlc dropped. And many times I catch myself thinking how much the game has changed, and how the main gamemode focus had changed - from duels to 4v4 ganks - etc etc.
I also catch myself thinking there was a lot less annoying shit too. Then I think for a sec and remember that nope, back then there was way too much bullshit as well )

I was a zerk main doing the glass cannon. I absolutely loved doing it and i am sorry to the people i obliterated. It was such a broken mechanic, tho i like the percs less because of how shallow it is. I want something inbetween with way more options. But i dont think we are gonna get that because they just love half assing everything.

My beserker gameplan: unblockable spam. If that doesn't work, infinite mixups. If THAT doesn't work... well, shit.
Also my biggest peeve with this game is that the beserker doesn't have a beserk ability, it's only in feats.
Getting guardbroken out of a deflect has always felt really jarring for me
I remember PK having revenge attacks feat. No one ever talked about it when it went away LOL
cause it sucked on her lol, bleed damage didnt count towards revenge attacks only physical. and pks physical damage was laughably bad

If they gotta remove the recovery. Then do it. Like hyper on an assasin doesn’t make squat sense. Let alone being able to have super armour and deflect that gives a juicy chain starting heavy. Like.

I love the blunt honesty with this one xD he i s quite the double edged sword, meanwhile he has such an intriguing thing going for a game literally called "for honor" (so intriguing that they had to try their best to copy and paste it into Jörm and shaman), he's also because of that, VERY MUCH SO ALONG WITH HIS IDENTITY GAMEPLAYWISE XD, man gives zero fucks about everything, he just wants to fucking crush and gut you, and its such a blessing but also such a curse, I'm all about character identity matching their gameplay (like pls keep on doing it), but if they do so they gotta consider who gets in and who does not, or if not just do it well

im glad you can realize that some people dont like fighting your hero. these videos arent to shame people for playing them but to validate other peoples feelings. so many people just think that since they main them and have bad games its a "skill issue" if you cant deal with them

I’ve never had problems with Zerkers. They are able to feint many things and has hyper armor but he needs it. He’s a bad character with out it and if you think other wise you cope hard and can’t fathom waiting for zerker to finish

A lot of heroes can use unlock tech but berserkers unlock tech honestly looks cool so if someone uses it against me I honestly wouldn’t care
no, theres unlock "tech" like afeera unlock tech that has a counter. but zerk tech is literally just an exploit and has no counter to it whatsoever

Any hero that has hyper armor on every move (90% of moves) is just a poorly designed hero that shouldn't exist. That's why nobody likes Zerker, Goki, or Hito, they're just brainless "always my turn" heroes that force you to play their game permanently.
Aramusha is literally just Zerker if he was designed correctly, which is why Musha is one of the most honest heroes and Zerker is another crayon eater hero.
Also unintentional deflects need to be removed from the game. Zerks deflect is peak and every deflect should be intentional. Great point.

I love berserker's deflect but I feel like it should get a more unique punish tbh, either that or Valk needs to lose the ability to do the exact same fucking thing, it's a total "fuck you" when another character can do the same input you can along with another punish choice, but then again that's not an issue with the character, that's an issue with game design

This isn't related to beserker but I would like to ask this particular part of the community if I should come back to for honor. Ive been playing since marching fire and have built up a lot of my play style off this game. Its influence getting me through the souls series and beyond. Ive been away from it for a while but I start to get the urge to play it again, telling myself it would be a waste of years of hard work and pain to just abandon it. With all the changes and fixes that feel a bit late in my eyes, would it be better to play it again or should I move on? Ive yet to find another game that can scratch the itch I have for sword clashing combat. So would coming back be worth it?
I'd rather face 4 beserkers then 1 hitokiri or afeera

Tbh i think people just hate fighting me because i run heavys like shugoki, Ect, and you guessed it, Berserker, because i like his hyper armour plus i dont like to play only heavys but suck at assassins besides roach but hes toxic idc hes more toxic then berserker in my opinion but i like him because its making me from mainly spamming heavys with shugoki to faking and thinking about my attacks as berserker and no im not a noob i just barely have to think about my moves all i do is read and do 2 mixups thats what i mean on shugoki but on berserker it changes on each player i fight

I might be a ass hole for this but i use "techs" if im playing zerk as a main everyone in my server has fast as reaction speed even hip switching doesn't help lol plus i find out theses broken "techs" and just get a video of me using it and the controller Imports soo the devs can just deal with it but please talk about afeera tech 🙏

I am a berserker enjoyer and the only things that annoys me when i fight him is the feint into light and the light after zone, I think they should be removed it would make For Honor a better game.

No bash, no (and seriously needed) soft feints, GB on deflect isn't guaranteed. If you're struggling against zerk it's a case of get gud

Zerk has one of the best deflects in the game that is basically guaranteed to give you a gb which in turn can wall splat, ledge, or send you into a kill wall, he has LIGHT attacks with hyper armor. Hes got dodge recoveries and recovery frames on his heavies that are so fast they might as well be soft feints. The dude was only nerfed by reflex guard. Now thats gone. Hes one of the easiest heros to use now because you just zone spam, heavy feint light spam or just simply HA triple heavy your opponent to death. Hes way too safe. Mfer does not need a bash lol
I prefer Hitos over zerks. Not only because I mained Hito for a long time, but zerk is just stupid and game breaking. They should remove the cancels and hyper armour and completely rework the fucking shitfest of a hero he is. These stupid soft feint lights are just too much, paired with dodge cancels its really annoying to fight.

I'm not entirely sure but I think Karl only voiced the "enemy" Zerk. That might sound weird but before Marching Fire and before they tried to change the voices and voice lines of the Heroes with the responsive dialogue system, old For Honor had a lot more varied grunts that Heroes would make when blocking and attacking. Not only that, but the game would differentiate between allies and enemy voice lines by having two different voice actors for each. That's why in old videos you could hear Lawbringer's top UB heavy with him only saying "Ad Mortem!" instead of "Ad Mortem Inimicus".
Anyway, all that to say that the sad part is, Karl's voice lines/grunts are probably lost or just unused in the files like all the other old voices.

Can we get a ranking on the greatest light spammers in the game? Orochi, nobushi, shinobi ,centurion, aramusha, gryphon, Highlander, kensei, mejday, ocelot ect . Some of these guys hit so fast you can’t dodge out or block in time. Centurion will literally punch, slash and thrust you consecutively to death in a few seconds.

Berserker has alot of hyper armor and his sets barely have armor except a few chainmails. Lawbringer is a walking fortress yet he only has one hyper. Does this make any sense? 🤷♂️

This character isn't bad or annoying? Only normal? This is the first time I've heard that this character is irritating. There is no one like that even among my friends or in public. More often I hear complaints about the Chinese Faction, Ocelot, Pirate, Warmonger, Gryphon. Not an ordinary character who is just good and normal.
