- Former Brexit Party MEP Belinda de Lucy has denied that the UK is racist following the fallout of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s claims about the Royal Family.
In the bombshell tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, the couple said there had been “conversations” within The Firm about how dark baby Archie’s skin would be.
Speaking with talkRADIO’s Mike Graham, Ms de Lucy said: “The idea that the UK is a racist country is absolutely ridiculous and really inflammatory and does need to be challenged.”

I think this was all Megan's idea just because she couldnt fit into a world of heritage and public duty. She did not do her homework before she decided to get married into the British Royal Family; for that she has herself to blame. What really makes me dislike Megan is that rather than find a respectable way to address whatever concerns/issues she had, she ran to a foreign country and aired her drama on global television; and this I find extremely cheap and money minded.

I am a white person who grew up in Africa. I love Africa and it’s different people. What always strikes me is how few black people actually take their skills and go and live in Africa to better it for its citizens.

I'm American. Before Harry, most didn't even know her name. Most had to Google her upon the announcement of engagement. Most didn't even know she was mixed... so much so some comedians would put her in a collage of caucasian brunette actresses and ask people to point out Meghan... only to fail to do so. Prior to Harry, Meghan never championed anything for Black rights or people of color. If anything, all she ever talked about was "championing dish soap" (which was an over exaggerated spin on a class project with way too many name drops).

And she got one of the Queen's top aides, Samantha Cohen, to show her the ropes. Who later quit, because she was fed up with Megain. And as for the whole "Harry took his family away to protect them"...Harry had reportedly been unhappy in being part of the Royal family for years. He should have backed down from duties years ago, and when he started dating Megain, he should have said, Look, I just want a quiet life, and let's just go off to Africa or wherever and just be us. But no, they had to have the titles, and the huge expensive wedding. And then proceeded immediately to whine about the constraints of being in the Royal Family.
