Finishing arabian nights is such a feat!! Especially as it is such a chunky book! That is one waiting for me on my shelf and I need to buckle up and get ready to tackle it. But I can understand some of the stories being more interesting than others. So many volumes of chainsaw man you are deep in the series so far! The alchemist was one I really liked when I read it too. Many years ago now, but had a fun time for me as I was ready to embark on my life adventure at the time (I remember I was starting a life journey, NO idea what journey it is). I felt fangirl was mediocre meh? It was a long time ago but I never cared about HP and I skipped over all the fanfic excerpt chapters. I liked the love interest but felt like everything else was kind of just... okay. I didn't have that roommate experience though, so I found the best thing about it was learning more about the US uni experience which was SO different to my own. Also I feel like I have read other books which captured fandom better since and then?
