If so, I recommed you listen o read, "Return to Longbourn," by Shannon Winslow. In my opinion, the best Pride and Prejudice Variation, purely around Mary!
Spoiler Alert... As a Canadian with fond ties to Newfoundland, I am sincerely glad that this is a fictitious story as I would hate to think of Wickham being set amungst the Innocents in one of my favourite places in the world... I sincerly hope he gets swept overboard before docking in St. John's... LOL I have truly enjoyed many of your other stories. Thank you.
One of my favorite variations. Edit: still one of my favorites after the 3rd listen. Edit: 4th listen Edit: still love to hear the "set down" Collins gets.😢
I loved this book. I would have liked to have heard a letter penned from Aunt Gardener to Jane and Mary and their responses. Thank you for giving Mary such a wonderful ending.
Oh goodness... how I was made a scullery “servant-of-all” things in my marriage... a cook and a launder-maid, a gardener and a nurse maid, a housekeeper and a personal maid, a governess and a tutor, a steward and a secretary, a grate cleaner and a waste-pot emptier, a keeper and a maintainer of chickens, and sheep and dogs and cats... etc.etc.etc.... How such a gentle woman as myself had allowed myself to be brought so low...?😪 All my dreams of balls and dresses and quiet walks and cheery visits to such and such friends... Wait, do I have any friends left? ... hm.. Never mind. Just. Never mind 😭 I better stop listening to these kinds of dreamy stories and get back to reality 🤦🏻♀️👍🏻 After all, most of women these days are in such maid-of-all situations anyway... “Oh well, I guess a ball just has to wait...”
So glad Mary found someone!
Thank you for Mary's storyline. I have always felt badly for her.

Haha my head canon was that he annoyed everyone aboard the ship so much they tossed him overboard in the middle of the night!
This was lovely & I’m so happy for Mary, fancy writing this & narrating it as well, you did a superb job on both fronts. Many thanks xxx
I was happy for mary as wel
A great story and great narration equals true entertainment!
Very sweet. A nice little “what if” and one of the better Pride & Prejudice spin offs I’ve read/heard.
Thank you for this story variation. I really enjoyed the new story lines, especially Mary having a happy ending and Lydia being reigned in. ❤️🙏
And Lydia does badly need reining in!
But best that Lydia was reigned in as her strong personality needed guidance. Her energy when refined, could be a book in itself.
Ottimo! molto gradevole bellissima variazione, rispettati i canoni dell'originale, bravissima 👏👏😊
Grazie mille, felice che ti sia piaciuto!
I have listened now 3 times and love it more every time..I believe my favorite part is Wickham with no front teeth 😂
Absolutely what the vain idiot deserves!
Often wondered why he was left like a loose cannon and Darcy knowing that he would cause much more damage!!
One of my favorite variations.

A lovely book that I adore, I love your tweaks and how they make the story unfold!
Absolutely lovely
Well balanced story...
How clever to write and narrate such a charming variation. I enjoyed this greatly. ;)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you!!! ❤❤❤
Loved this variation.
Fresco godibile. ❤
I like only stories like this one, that skips slobbering housewife porn.
Thank you 🌺
Listening 21, April 2023, I just realized I've listened to this already.
Thanks Nancy! This is a re-release as unfortunately there was a problem with the initial file, so you might have heard it before!
A good book is always worth an other read or listen.
I'm listening for the 3rd time.
I'm listening again September 9, 24.
It's a good one. It helps me get to sleep, since I've heard it so much.
Love the story.
I think I would have like some type of suspenseful moment, such as Whickam escaping, or Lydia running away. But I did like it a lot.
White nice to see the parallel universe of Jane Austen.
Thank you so much. I’ve really enjoyed this audiobook.❤
Thank you I am listening for the second time I love your take on the Pride and Prejudice characters.

Thank you! 24th July of 2024th.💙
Lydia is kind of a brat.
Well, that's canon Lydia!
Thank you
