I'm getting around 30-80k in t16's depending on how juiced they are with just a random 18% rarity roll on a ring and a gold flask with the rarity during flask effect craft. Shrines and beyond seem really good for gold making, also elder/shaper scarabs are very solid for gold. one map I highly recommend if you want gold is desert spring as the path to the boss as well as the boss room spawns a ton of mobs which all seem to drop decent gold, I usually get anywhere from 10-30k in just the boss area.
30-80k from one map, how? Most I got from one map was 15k and it was T16 with 8 mods. I also did not see scaling with items rarity, już did a run with +85% rarity ring and I did now saw any increase in gold drop
@@Gnomeks Just juice maps with beyond, shrines and deli. I had a record of 108k in a map yesterday. That was a very juiced map though where I tried to see how much I could get, and I got lucky and got the bismuth ore early. I've been doing deli orb'd 8 mod maps recently which is also very good gold, I farm the maps myself by using the 8 mod scarab and maps drop with deli orbs applied to them scarab. Farm this in t17 with a high map drop roll, usually get between 10-20 maps that way.

From my experience blight is also quite good for gold, salvaging the towers alone often nets you 1000+ gold, and then you also get gold in the final loot explosion and a bit from chests
The "Meticulous Appraiser" atlas map keystone passive gives 300% conversion of quant to rarity (+60% quant -> +180% rarity), for 1 respect point that can be a great choice to toggle on and off.
Harvest works but for having done it a while without scarabs, it is not as great (I'm keeping my chaos for gear upgrades). But today, I am planning on trying it out another favorite of mine with Harbingers, Beyond while using Deli Orbs and with maps sustain nodes (since I only got 2 voidstones right now). Hopefully, with the market that let me sell things more easily, almost everything from that should be worth money :)
After testing and trying different atlasetups (using some 300 orbs of unmaking) and testing different cheap scarabs (1ch) im on 50k+ gold on tier 12 maps.
it would make sense about gold replacing items, just from the fact that rarity scales it, you must get more gold when it replaces rare/unique items instead of a bunch of crappy white items dropping.
A tip ive found is while higher tier workers do cost more per hour they also work substantially faster meaning they can fully mine an ore node in a few minutes then they aren't costing anything during the down time.
@@BuriedDutchmanyeah I was worried about this happening and checked. If there’s nothing to mine or smelt then they cost nothing while being assigned to whatever material. Farming crops is the only thing that keeps them going until you’re out of gold
Great video! Just a comment. Abyss is actually decent for gold, but for it to be great you need to run the scarab of edifici that gives you hoards, most hoards drop gold. It's not the best strategy for farming gold, but it is not gimping yourself goldwise unlike other mechanics.
i mean Gold replacing other drops is kinda true...i cant even quality up my items because i just wont drop wetstones or scrap. its weird, usually i cant escape these things but this time i have less of them than chaos orbs. fuck i even have more divine orbs than armourers scraps holy fuck
I love the format, love love love the format, but please come with the correct name/values. Ballpark is good, and thankfully ive gotten the upgrade and faced the boss that drops gold to know which is which, but for those that haven't, the exacts will help them plan accordingly!
Blighted maps give about the same gold as their tier of alch and go map unless you use teal it seems to remove all the gold almost. Blight in maps if you do the towers right is OK. Blight ravaged is about a alch and go style t17.
i didn't see it in this video maybe everyone know by now. gold wage is up to the highest pay from all the job he have. farmer10 still need lower wage than mapper5. but if that farmer have side job as mapper5 you need to pay him mapper wage.
Gold is very silly atm. For someone who doesnt play constantly, its stressfull to keep enough amounts to have everybody working overnight, while saving hundreds of thousands for upgrades at the same time. I realized the only benefit of that is the occasional shipload of bubblegum currency (mappers are crazy expensive and die all the time, so I dont bother with them yet), so for the time being I've emptied the town budget, and stopped all work, while Im just grinding gold to upgrade the individual shops, so I can minmax prodiluction later. I still gather the ores in maps, they do pile up. TLDR: Gold costs are too extreme and unless you have minmaxed shipping and mapping its not worth keeping anything working non-stop

Hey man. I've tested the rarity stuff, it doesn't seem to work... But I've only tested it twice I've ran tier 7 map, "Channel", just white, no mods, same atlas, just pure mobs, no rituals, no strongboxes, none of that, but I did kill the boss. First test: Just my regular gear, 34% increased rarity on my stats. Gold gained: 2,524 Second test: Swapped out both rings, belt, gloves, and boots. 299% increased item rarity Gold gained: 2,485 I understand that I only did 2 runs. But like, there should've been a difference, no? It's only 1.56% difference. Granted, this video is 7 days ago at the time of my testing... So maybe they changed it back or something, because it makes more sense to get more gold with quantity instead of rarity.
I think there's still extreme variability when it comes to mob rolls and the like. I'm gonna test it out myself soon, but it definitely makes a MASSIVE difference at the high end (CaptainLance 9's video showcases this).

Is anyone else having the problem of never seeing anything but 1 material appear in maps? I have gone from white maps and a good portion of yellow and 9/10 times it's always Petrified Amber for me. Anyone else having this kind of weird rng?
The rates are a little weird when you are at mining levels 6,7, 8. You can theoretically see verisium, but it feels super rare, then between the three you can mine, someone is going to have the RNG streaks of seeing only one kind. When you get Mining level 9 and its "Ores found in Areas are more likely to be rarer varieties" bonus, the balance feels MUCH better. Hang in there Exile, it gets better.
Odd to. I picked up the "IIQ converted to IIR" node which gives me 300% more rarity per quantity I have. I mad a lot less gold. EXPLAIIIIIN EXPLAIIIIIN

If you do the ritual you will reveice gold after completing it, so it still is kinda worth to do if you spec into it.

Delve has good gold once you go down a tiny bit. I have 30k sulphite and am at depth 200 and i get about 60-100k gold per run

Raity increases the gold no matter where you get it from. If you get some through the Atlas tree, that also counts, of course.

The boss is separate from the "normal" risk meter. This is also mentioned in the tooltip now.
