    As long as someones getting hit in the face with reasonable amount of force and the match outcome isnt point scoring, its good enough imo. From there onwards everyone who does this thing can start figuring out the moves which they prefer the most. Theres so many techniques in the world with varying chances of connecting and cause different amount of damages. Maybe some dude gets a lot of hits in by slapping, and if the slaps dont do anything significant to the fight, they wont win as often, so the shitty ones gets filtered out in the end

    Gun beats martial arts

    • @de0509
      @de0509 2 года назад

      Depends tho. Its hard to fine tune your response. You musnt be too alert that if an old lady dropped some cereal box behind you, she gets instantly shot due to reflex. On the other hand. If youre not alert enough some dude can casually just walk by with a knife concealed and shank you.
      At a certain range, no amount of Gun-fu training can prepare you for it. Just look up videos of people getting shanked. Its impossible to know if someone has a knife and wants to hurt you.
      Plus. You cant dial it down. When some abusive family member starts harassing, you cant set the gun to shoot at a quarter, or an eighth muzzle energy, or shoot out half a bullet. Shooting at a thief thats running away from you will land you in more shit than it solves.
      There is no perfect martial art. Gun based martial arts has its strengths and weaknesses too

      PAZZELLO Already has, Sage Northcut and Chuck Liddell are Kajukenbo practitioners, that's also considering it's a very uncommon martial art. Also Kajukenbo isn't really new, it's been around since 1947 which makes it older than taekwondo.

    • @FlorinToader
      @FlorinToader 7 лет назад +5

      a lot of the moves look like bullshit. One point that always gets brought up is this wouldn't work in MMA. My issue with MMA however (as a practitioner) is I am able to do things otherwise I wouldn't do, like punching the crap out of somebody, because I have my hands wrapped and I wear gloves. I also feel that my stance leaves my open to groin shots. If it was a real fight and I would use the MMA stance, the fight would be over pretty fast - I would either kick my opponent in the nuts or he would do it first. This is why you see traditional martial arts practitioners using a more sideways stance.
      I just wish there was something in between, maybe MMA without gloves?

    For those critical of this test, this is one of many test that happens in Kajukenbo. Bruce Lee was not the best but respected Ed Parker of Kenpo enough to respect the art. Kajukenbo is one step above Kenpo and I personally won over 200 fights in Chicago without breaking a sweat. Go to Fight Quest Kajukenbo and you will respect it enough.

    Fighting with your chin up, sticking out, with a straight back, won't work in the street.. You will get knocked out, lose your balance or taken down. If you are fighting multiple opponents, you are probably going to get hit.....Hard blocks don't work in MMA or in boxing... Real punches are FAST. There has to be head movement, to avoid getting hurt.... You might be able to parry, at best. You also will not be able to dance around if you are in a small area like an elevator, or against multiple bad guys.
    I admire this black belt candidate's effort.... But his power & balance are poor, and he's very tight...

    • @adamcz3183
      @adamcz3183 Год назад

      I think people seem to get confused with someone being a black belt and being a pro fighter just means he can defend himself decently well doesn't mean he's going to take on professional fights.

    Yep all those UFC fanbois who just say BJJ and Muay Thai beat everything need to STFU. All martial artists have the same mandate to learn to punch hard, kick hard and grapple to at least being able to escape and stand up. It's Mixed Martial Arts, not mixed Magical Arts. (ka) = Karate, (ju) = Judo, (ken) = kenpo, (bo) = boxing. Kajukenbo was one of the first approaches to try to transcend the limits of any one style, and it has been pressure tested in areas known for lots of street violence.
