- I’ve been experimenting with hormones on my own after hormone receptor positive breast cancer. I know it’s a tricky prospect but I want to feel ok/good again. Here’s my findings so far.
Also met with Rad. Onc. And he’s ordering a pet/ct and possible hyperbaric oxygen therapy for me to repair tissues damaged by radiation.
Still kicking over here!
Thanks for listening…
Love
Anitra

One of the doctors out there who recommends estrogen for women who have gone through BC.
Susanne Sommers had stage 2 - she refused chemotherapy.
Stage 2 - lumpectomy - chemo and radiation. Tamoxafin sucks - reduced my dose from 20mg to 10mg. Feel normal again.

Another good resource for women who are considering hormone therapy after breast cancer .
I'm doing my own hormone therapy without doctors approval. I'm following the same path as you . However I'm only stage 1- 61 years old so same crap with no hormones when I was taken off HRT.
My CTX bone turnover marker was 1116 on Testosterone. I get no hormone testing. Like 2 mg a day. Switched from letro to Tamoxifen as I refused treatment of letrozole when I found out my bones were headed south.
When I get too much test my face breaks out. Testosterone does help me with alot of things but bones did not see to be one of them.
I'm sorry you , me and so many women are going through this.
It’s nice to hear of others who are forging their own path. If I was only stage one, I definitely would be going full on into hormones. Being that I was stage three with lymph node involvement I feel I have to be slightly more cautious, but still I am going for it. And yeah it’s risky but we have to feel OK and not like we’re on deaths door. I’m not familiar with that bone turnover marker, but I’m glad that you are educated and taking matters into your own hands. Thanks for connecting and thanks for the information.
I know right stage 1 and doctors still refuse to get HRT to women with breast cancer. I'm in active treatment and will decide what to do after that.
I'm active and live life. I guess no one wants to grow old. Especially a young beautiful woman like yourself. I hate to see it. But being your own advocate is important. I've watched almost all your videos. Just to see that I'm not alone in thinking hormones are important.
@@myradeen1 well I am thrilled for you to take matters into your own hands. Life is risky anyway, so we have to do our best and make the best decisions for ourselves. It’s unbelievable to me. How little research has been done for women and hormones after menopause with or without breast cancer in the mix. I wish you all the best and I hope that you feel better.
Hello mam
What about itp? Is it cured or you are still under treatment?
Im still under treatment . I infuse 15 grams of immunoglobulin each week to keep the platelets stable. Im trying a carnivore diet to maybe fix the platelet problem

Glad to hear that. I think we should
