You should have a tubeless plug of different sizes 3.5mm and 1.5mm. Depends on the size of the hole and you can combine them and use 3.5 + 1.5 to close small leaks.
Great views, more punctures!!. Dynaplugs ftw, slam one in as soon as you hear air escaping and ride to settle the plug and sealant around it. Stop and add air after. Love the terrain and views, it reminds me of lots of hiking in the Sud Tyrol when we stayed up in Sterling/Vipiteno. Good times.
Really epic ride ... Looks soooooooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful ... A bit like Switzerland ... I really hope plugs work the way you do, put it on the fork and then in and out ... I have always one with me but ... Thanks God, haven't used it yet ... The crew beer has arrived, thanks a lot to your logistics ... The can has special grip, I think this is because of your design ... Feels really good .... Hope you enjoyed your working holiday 😉 ... Greetings to Mike ...
Second this for sure. I had bad luck with the more traditional type of plug kits similar to in the video and have also had problems with the plugs coming out while riding. Got a Dynaplug Megapill and it's already saved me a few times. SO much easier.
You can use moisty dirt to act as a sort of "cement" to help the sealant do it's job is the hole is too big for the sealant itself but not big enough for a plug !
Beautiful ride with a nice mix of trails and roads. What size tires are you running for the chunkier stuff? After you shoot your Dart, try for a seal. If you don’t get it, add some sealant through the valve stem. If that fails, tell you joke about the girlfriend and place an inner tube - bad luck!
The plugs are specific size for the tool you have guys. The fork must be bigger than the hole so you can match the plug with hole you’re making. I haven’t seen any sealant in your tire ;)
How did you film the descends and all the riding footage? With a gopro and the mouth mount? And if you did, how did you manage to let it look so not-goproy, if you know what i mean, haha. So many questions… 🤔
@@sirmixalot3332 I think there is only one 700 size now. 700C is only 1mm different in rim circumference than B, so I don't think it is made anymore. And of course, the second number is the tire width. Regardless, 700X50 seems like huge tire that would require a wide fork and chain stay width.
I punctured once before like that. The simple gummy worms don't really work 100% of the time. you might have better chances if you slather the worm with ordinary puncture repair glue first (those little tubes that come with regular inner tube repair kits) then bung it into the punctured tyre. Again, not 100% but you stand a better chance of sealing the hole. Best of luck dudes!
Mikey's got a point, you seem to have to largest plug tool head there is. From my experience only the thick sausages work well and even if it's fiddly I'll always try to thread it into the smaller tools... You seem to have mixed thin sausage with big tool tho :')
I've always wanted to stay there, you can go biking anytime, and space for my dogs to run about, you also have lots of things to do in the winter.🚴👍💯🏴
you should practice a bit with plugs on an old tyre..... I used dynaplug and stans no tube plugs with no problems with road and gravel tyres, just stick them in and let the sealand close the last bit and bit air and ready to roll again :) but it can be that you didn't had any sealant in it any more to close the hole after you plugged it, maiby it dried out or you already used all off it ? on some other punctures? ps. going there in 3 weeks to ride the ronda cella and Dolomieten maraton :) with a few guys, shame I cant take the gravelbike with me :(
Rule #55 Earn your turns. If you are riding down a mountain, you must first have ridden up the mountain. It is forbidden to employ powered transportation simply for the cheap thrill of descending. The only exception to this is if you are doing intervals on Alpe d’Huez or the Plan de Corones and you park your car up top before doing 20 repeats of the climb.
Epic! Thank you. Oh and that tire plug is the worst I have ever seen. It looks like it would make the puncture even bigger. Go online and get a way better one for very little money.
I love that you and Mikey are both serious cyclists but don’t have show yourselves bombing every descent. Sometimes it’s nice just to enjoy the scenery.
The word "EPIC" makes every video just great! But really why don´t you took hardtails or light trail bikes ... you would have had more fun i pretend! ach noch was... man fährt keinem Bauern einfach über d´Wiesn ... wenn da ein Weg is. ZEFIX!!!
It's always a blessed day when Fernwee uploads, but having Mike in it makes it that much better

Exactly why I'll stick to innertubes. In terrain like that I'd pack a piece of canvas as well.

Doesn’t matter what is going on, I just enjoy watching this and listening to the music.
This has to be one of my top five favorite videos. The views are totally speechless 😍
Wow, thank you!
"You've got a girlfriend right? You know this is not working" Lol
Thanks for this new video. Dolomites are always a ride worth. Always choose the south side of the Alpes. Look at the sky. Marvellous. THANKS !!!
What an amazing place to ride. The Italian tourist board will be pleased that you have featured the beautiful scenery of the Dolomites.
Tacos… wine… and a Fernwee video… life is good - for now, cause there’s always Monday being a downer. Lol
This looks absolutely incredible 🔥 bucket list ride
Sunday back to normal with an epic film from Martijn. And relax.
😍😍😍
My cycling holiday this year got cancelled so this is a beautiful video to escape to!
Too bad to hear about your holiday, but happy to provide some relief ;)
And not a single other person to be seen. This is what dreams are made of 👍
Stan's darts! It's amazing!
Agree with this, 💯
Your videos are just like cycling, a pure therapy 🙏🏻
How do you take videos while riding. Can you show the setup. Love your videos
And going faster than motor bikes I might fall & hit Straight gravel rocks 🚲💨

Wohoow, enjoy the beers!
I use the Dynaplug tubeless plugs. Easy, reliable, and always ready to go.

Always the best !!! Greetings from Poland.
I use the muc-off tubeless plug system, which has saved me and lasted for ages!
Your footage is simply incredible.
The Mike / Fernwee combination in the Dolomites 👌
What a beautiful place to ride a bike. Great video again
How do you take video’s and pictures while riding? Which camera ?
Looks like a great place to ride! Love the scenery!

Incredible view!! 🔥
what camera settings did you use in your video sir ?i hope you answear this thank you enjoy watching here

Yep, gopro and mouth mount! I edit the colours a bit, and film in the "linear" setting. That's usually enough to make it look not-too-goproy ;)
What is your preferred wheel size and tire for these types of gravel roads? 650B with 45mm or more or 700 with 40mm or less?
700 with 50mm
‘A or B?’- Marc
‘C’ - Fernwee

Mikey the mad descender..!!! Just heavenly riding.
What shoes were you wearing?

try the Stans NoTubes Dart patch kit, it works better than regular plugs
Excuse me, but you also get the chain on your shoe when you go down???
Sometimes yeah
what intro music did you use sir? Is it available online or did you make it yourself? thanks!
Stunning.
are those Pirelli Cinturato H tires?
what were you shooting this on? And what were you using to record audio?
Gopro Hero 9, Gopro Hero 9!
What model of sunglasses are those?
attack gel is the best for the punctured
No sealant?

Invested in a Dynaplug, hopefully that works better!
Beautiful!
Awesome ride

Agreed, cycling is not all about being fast :)
Amazing views
Nice ride!
Dynaplug would fix that for sure.
What's the name of the location??
Badia!
@@Fernwee seems Alta Badia is hotspot for gravel you tuber

What mm tires?
50mm!
Gaan de remblokken de hele trip mee of slijten deze best snel in deze omstandigheden?
Die gaan wel een tijdje mee hoor, denk dat ik ze 2-4x per jaar vervang
Where is this?
Badia!
Красивые места , класс!)
use glue with the plug, it needs to melt together
Amazing ride. Can you send me the map. Thank you.
A M A Z I N G ! #iwantoridethere
I refuse to run tubless. There's just no garentees the way there is with a few tubes and some tyre boot.
filling water this way 6:20 is pretty dangerous. You should use a filter.
😍😍😍😍
Unbelievable!
Stan's no tube " Dart" tire plug ck it out
Stans Dart. Much better than the bacon strips or even than Dyna Plug.
Nice video but, Why do so many Europeans use drop bars off road.
Cause its better!
С бескамеркой всегда так)))
Круто!

ach noch was... man fährt keinem Bauern einfach über d´Wiesn ... wenn da ein Weg is. ZEFIX!!!
We used the bikes we had with us, maybe next time we'll take our hardtails!
Guys do yourselves a favor and take your Hardtail.
What a fabulous idee to go on a single downhill track with a Gravel bike.
Do not copy that, it is nonsense!
it must be really enjoyable to ride trails with hardforks, not.
Дичь в коментах) Хотя ее не жалко)
Beautiful ride. Only those masks in the elevator are plain stupid.
MTB would be better on most these trails..
Definitely, but that's part of the fun of gravel!
get the mtb and do the proper downhill
