Kay is so sweet. She tickles me with her love of butter. When I was a kid we picked butter cup flowers, put them under our chin, if it reflected yellow, we loved butter. Kay's would have been the yellowest of all.
The Carpenters, beautiful Karen’s voice you could hear. “Hangin around...rainy days & sunshine...”🎶 They were even bigger across the pond in days gone by💜
🇮🇪Catching up on the replays ❤🛕I love all the 🏰castles around there 🕍 just lovely 😍like the movies and books I've 📚read throughout my lifetime 🥰 Kay is simply amazing 👑❤
I’ve read there’s significance to coloured doors in Ireland, urban legend depicts eg: a Red doors mean welcome, welcoming energy into that space, to ward off evil spirits and ghosts or a blue door can mean you’re prosperous and positive😀 Painting ones door a bright colour was the only way for people particularly with 19th century uniformed style homes to make their homes distinctive from the outside. Love the coloured doors and wreaths on the doors. Would love to know if there is any significance to this? Will definitely return to Kilkenny to view what you’ve experienced👍🏻😎
Mac is both irish and scottish it comes from the gaelic for son .O names are not found at all in scotland but macs are found in both due to gaelic language and culture being brought over to scotland in the 500s,but some how the o which means from or grandson never caught on in scotland.
We are fairly easy going but ordering a car bomb or black and tan is a no no .The other thing when in ireland that is the irish republic visitors should try not to associate it with britishness or the UK because its a totally different sovereign entity ,of course they are similarities due to proximity and history but its not the same..I would also not talk about leprechauns again we are thick skinned ,but the leprechaun stuff is cringe.
