Best explanation I have heard thank you so much❤
Thank you for answering this question. I have wondered this myself. There are a lot of things in scripture that I don't understand but I am learning. It can be overwhelming at times because there are so many wonderful truths in the Bible and I want to know them all.
My burden is light is literal.
Beautiful explanation & we also have extrema peace in Jesus
It means when we trust Christ alone for our salvation, we are free, we go from trying to live an obedient life outa love rather than fear, and we’re covered eternally. Once you accept there’s no sin he hasn’t covered, past, present and future. So now as we grow no matter what happens we’re covered, no amount of sin
Isn’t covered, once we understand that, the pressure of trying to live a perfect holy life goes away, you’re forgiven once and forever, as Jesus said, it.is.finished.
Actually we trust only the Father and no Son of man. Psalm 146:3.
The 1st commandment includes no one but the Father ALONE.
Worshipping any man as God Almighty is the abomination we were warned not to be deceived by.
No one died for your sins, if so that person would still be dead as thats the wages for my sin. Unfortunately most people don't understand the gospels because they are allegory. You must offer your life on your own cross as a sacrifice first for your own sins and also for the sins committed against you by others. This is propiation for your sins. No one did that for you.
The christ (word/spirit) in you is the hope of glory.
YOU are the anointed Son if you have overcome sin. Rev 21:7.
He has grace according to his Riches but as a country divided the house shall fall and with riches depleting i think the grace period will be over . I think the passage can also mean he prefers easy going lazier people as he wore sandals and comfortable clothing. And he said we are not to strife for only the rich man strives . Maybe thats what he meant

Jesus Christ = Most High
Jesus is your equal , u can do greater things than jesus did.
This is so great!! Thank you! Do you mind me asking what system you all use to take calls?
To me that passage means that to live according to God's will is actually easier than living in sin. Think of all the drama and suffering that is caused by living in sin. Our righteousness is as filthy rags in comparison to God's Glory and yet we can repent of our sins and not live a sinful lifestyle. Im older and when I was younger I new lots of people from the older generation that didn't live in sin and had good decent lives. Thats not the case so much these days. There have been times in my own life that I was living in sin and I had one problem after another and ended up in the ICU from my addictions. That was my low point and I repented and have been walking in that direction ever since even though I have stumbled at times but my life today is far easier than my old lifestyle of sin. But I do agree with this interpretation as well because the Pharisees did place heavy religious burdens on people as do some churches now. Like having rules around food, certain days religious rites etc etc.
All a person has to donis to see the error of their ways believe that Jesus can save them and to repent and start living according to His directives and the fruits will manifest automatically in time.

The yoke was the law he was talking to jews. Jesus yoke was freedom from law.not sure why these guys did not know that
To me what's of God is gentle, humble, light, easy. The world will have you over burdened and overwhelmed calling it success or worthwhile.😡
