- This is STAR WARS in Call of Duty Zombies! Today we're playing 2 maps, the first is a unique Tatooine themed challenge map that offers a completely unique box-style experience for a CoD Bo3 Custom Zombies Map! The second is a Star Wars Tower Map, which needless to say was the HEIGHT of stress. The maps feature iconic Star Wars Stormtrooper models, multiple Boss Fight Arenas, buyable endings, Call of Duty MW2019 weapons, soul chests that offer unique rewards, mini-bosses reskinned as memorable enemies from the Star Wars universe (like the Panzer Soldat as the Super Battle Droids), Cold War Zombies perks, and so much MORE! Fun fact: to make the blaster sound for Star Wars, they put a microphone against the top of a giant spring and hit the spring. The spring used to make these effects in the original trilogy is now located in one of the sound recording booths at the University of Utah, and can be used by students in the music and sound design programs.

There was a book called Death Troopers where everyone on a star destroyer turned into zombies, seems like that inspired this map

I think the death troopers are also in Republic commandos, which is what the characters in the second map are.

The adVT TIME name is an Adventure Time reference. Not Star Wars. Because the lmg is called the Finn. Like Finn the Human. The gun is from MW2019 and it's real life counterpart is the KAC LAMG. Fun fact about it: there's a chainsaw conversion of it which appears in Ghosts as the ChainSAW

You mentioned that you didnt know why their were zombies in Star Wars, one of the books/comics that arent technically canon (although everyone considers it canon) is that a plague was released upon a star destroyer that cause zombies. It was weird but cool because it adds to the reanimated dead that the Nightsisters can being back. There is a lot of lore and such in Star Wars, it would take a while to fully explain, but Im happy to try!

2nd map is actually zombie clones, and you're playing as a republic commando which were in the 2005 Republic Commando game and also EA's Battlefront 2 in 2017. Quotes sound like Dee Bradley Baker's voice so I assume they're pulled from the EA Battlefront or Clone Wars (or they sampled Clone Wars dialogue into an AI voice of him)
There is a small story that i dont remember if is cannon or not,but there was an experiment with a virus that was called Project Blackwing which turned hosts into actual zombies,so zombies may exist in star wars :D

Zombies have appeared in Legends before, Star Wars: Death Troopers featured the Blackwing Virus and I imagine that’s what’s happening here

there is actually a canon comic go the movies where darth vader becomes a zombie, and his stormtroopers do too, so it could be related to that comic in the map. unless if i’m just going too much into detail

Why don’t you play some of the classic World at War custom maps for a change? It’s pretty old but there are quite a few ones
I could potentially look into some of the most iconic ones. I'm just not really a fan of how clunky and outdated they are, like I enjoy seeing the Bo3 versions of OG maps remade so I can showcase them on a fresher engine

I think zombies was a thing in star wars at one point, i think in the old legacy stuff.
Also they should have replaced the mw guns with the battlefront 2 weapons.
