I watched this before getting my hands on the Gunlancer and thought this was impressive but I could replicate the combos and such. After playing now and getting to 50, I realized that you just make it look easy. I find this class so hard to play in Elimination and 1v1s, due to how slow the moves are to activate. I try to attack and the enemy interrupts me before anything happens. You clearly have much better timing and positioning to pull this off. I'm loving the 1v3 videos and this was a great way for me to learn some good tricks without a long guide.

Thanks for the reply! I will stick with it and try to improve myself. I will also try some other classes but I believe I can do better with time. It sucks that I can't really practice punishing enemies and finding openings without being in real elimination games. (And sometimes you don't get a chance to fight if you don't go 1st)
@@pum how do you change direction so well with your dash ability, do you have a setting where your char faces the cursor or something and you move the cursor quickly as you hit dash ?
These 1v3 videos are so good. I was thinkin of making a gunlancer alt and after seeing this i'm even more tempted to but your timing with skills is so good. You are something else. That final fight of game 1 was crazy
i made a gunlancer to excited to pvp after seeing some of your videos only to then realize i have no where near your skill and you just made it look easy. GG well play my friend your skill is unmatched.
Hey Pum, any tips for playing with high ping (172-203ms like you)? Having trouble with the knock up -> stun combo and also find it really frustrating missing melee moves when the opponent is up in your face - e.g. Dodge Striker ice jump --> use bash/dash upper fire --> moves whiffs due to delay.
does anyone know why your dodge sometimes rolls forward? I figure it has something to do with you being knocked down or something, but i dont really understand it...
Seems like the best way to vs gunlancer is to just not roll out of downs unless you see them doing one of their large charge moves; it sucks but their other moves don't hit too hard, probably better off just saving the roll. Every time someone wasted a roll they got destroyed instantly.
Omg, I just want to play gunlancer with full tanky skills, but they don't let me play because of their cc. It looks like i have to play with a skill set like this too. But in 3vs3, i'm pretty sure that full tanky playstyle has to be better, but i didn't succeed it yet :D
gunlancer is hard to pick up because he has a lot of tiny mechanics that you'd have to learn just to play him at a decent level, he's slower than the other warriors but strong when you put the time to learn him. gunlancer is hard to learn, hard to master. berserker is easy to learn, hard to master because of his long animations on certain skills that make him vulnerable so positioning is important. This is all in terms of pvp.
Is this class bad for someone new? Im experienced at ARPG games but never played LA before. Is it really bad to play in 3v3's? By bad i mean not bad at all, but really hard to master compared to other classes.
The back step is their dodge, the roll is every class' recovery for when they get knocked to the ground, its a different ability and has a much longer cooldown than the backstep.
@@AK-zz9ok i dont know what % crit it gives you but i would imagine you cant crit if you dont have any points so having 1 point will make you maybe crit once or twice in the fight
The wins are nice and all but I was wondering if could show us some clips from matches that are actually higher rank... seeing those low grades get smacked around is not really that interesting.

It will be better for you to play easy to learn characters. Because for mastering you have to know other classes aswell

Not gunlancer. Ping friendly classes are artillerist, and deathblade. Paladin is decent.

in NA/EU we have 1000 stats points instead of 1250, how would you distribute it? 750 (max) Swiftness and rest on domination?
i asked him on stream and he said 750 swiftness 249 domination and 1 point in crit
