As always just in time for bed...looking forward to this all week. The stories I've heard and experienced on the Rez are most often been told to us as a warning and to not share the stories with others. My friends' family believed that it could bring negativity or a curse upon us or them. Love your stories and your cadence..it's so relaxing, even though the stories are scary. HEY CHRISTINA!!! :) I swear...you always get on here and I look forward to your comments! lol Agreed with you 100%% While I am not native American...Some of these rules, beliefs, cultural things tie back to Natives from all around that have been passed down through generations. This is why in Latino America you have the Nagual who is basically the skinwalker/shapeshifter that comes from Native Culture. Now keep in mind before colonization these tribes used to exchange, and live among each other (of course it wasn't always all pretty and flowers living) but you get the point, a lot of these things were passed on through the Native people. This is why many native cultures all around have similar beliefs! I say this because again...I agree with you 100% that even my own family believes and go by that certain things shouldn't be talked about because you can bring a curse on them...or yourself. While these stories do have truth to it....all of this is only scratching the surface!! Anyways, i love native culture as you can tell and learning more about it :) and being able to speak and tell stories from it..is just something special. Allegedly true!! I like that you said this because a lot of people complain or say "this isn't true" or "fake stories" Like look.....If i find a story or someone submits a story saying its true...I am going to say its true. Its usually up to the listener to determine if they will believe it to be true or not..but anyways...to answer your question. A mixture of a few! Some are actually written by me. Some are researched stories as they contain information that I have put together. Big fan of creepy pastas and Ill toss one also sometimes here and there...but you can usually tell when its a pasta. So yes...it a mixture of everything in between. However, as you can probably tell...we love skinwalkers and all cryptids!! Thank you for giving me your time by listening!! :)

Anyone else hear “water baby” and think about that baby doll from the 90’s? You filled it with water to make it feel and move like a real baby😂😂 I have had that song from the commercial stuck in my head since like 2am lmao. @@HauntedEden just been in a funk. Plus I’ve had to make sure everything is ready for the teenagers senior prom on Saturday. So this weeks been fkn crazy. Saturday is also Smokey Garage girls favorite day of the year, 4/20 🤷♀️😂 🔥💨 Today we pick up her dress from the seamstress cuz my kids barely 5ft and all the dresses were too long, tomorrow evening I gotta pick up her friends and take them both to their nail appointment, Friday we pick up her corsage. Then Saturday we rented an SUV to make sure the kids in her friend group all have rides to get pics taken, go to dinner then prom and the after prom party. Also hair and make up appointments so it’s gonna be a busy ass weekend. And all I wanna do is sit in my garage and celebrate my stoner holiday 🤷♀️🤣 plus we still have to go thru the little girls summer clothes and see what still fits cuz we have to start packing for Disney. I’m just ready for vacation lol. Can it just be May 26th already lol 😂😂😂

@@HauntedEden Oh, Ima work in some “celebration sessions” that day lol. Usually, if it falls on a weekday, the wife works from home or takes the day off to be here when they all get outta school or when it’s on a weekend she will stay home with the kids and I drive the hour north to spend the day with my bff. But since prom is the same day, I can’t celebrate the whole day lol. But I’ll get a lil Smokey garage time throughout the day. But you know what, that kid deserves it all. She lived w her birth mom until the end of 4th grade, then she started 5th grade living with us full time. She struggled in school and was only at a 3rd grade level even being in 5th grade. But, allow me brag about my child for a minute ❤️ She has busted her ass in school. She’s been in choir since 5th grade and in HS she’s made Bella Voce and varsity choir, she’s president of Bella Voce and the art club. Since the start of sophomore year she’s stayed on the highest honors list for her grades, she also made national honors society for art and got involved with the drama department and did a school musical this year. She will have like 3-4 cords at graduation next month. And it’s because of her grades and involvement in music and arts that out of her graduating class of 800, she was 1 of only 200 kids invited to go to England and study music and arts for 2 weeks. She was accepted into like 5 different schools for college. But she’s going to BGSU to major in Travel and Hospitality with a minor in media production. She’s come a long way from the little girl who came in as a new kid in school and struggled to read at her grade level ❤️❤️❤️ I’m SOOOO fkn proud of her

Thats awesome that you know your history and true history. This is one of the reasons why most natives are closed off and guard their culture, heritage and even stories. There are many tribes and natives out there and each of them have their own perspective on things and how much one should share and if it even should be shared. While natives rather not share and talk about certain things, other natives dont mind sharing and talking about certain things because that is how they learn about their culture as well. It all depends on who you are talking to, what tribe and their culture are.

Saturday is also Smokey Garage girls favorite day of the year, 4/20 🤷♀️😂 🔥💨 Today we pick up her dress from the seamstress cuz my kids barely 5ft and all the dresses were too long, tomorrow evening I gotta pick up her friends and take them both to their nail appointment, Friday we pick up her corsage. Then Saturday we rented an SUV to make sure the kids in her friend group all have rides to get pics taken, go to dinner then prom and the after prom party. Also hair and make up appointments so it’s gonna be a busy ass weekend. And all I wanna do is sit in my garage and celebrate my stoner holiday 🤷♀️🤣 plus we still have to go thru the little girls summer clothes and see what still fits cuz we have to start packing for Disney. I’m just ready for vacation lol. Can it just be May 26th already lol 😂😂😂
Reading through this list of TO DO items is giving me anxiety and I am not even in your shoes!! LOL "barely 5 ft" LOL omg...BUT its all sounds very exciting...well they are going to love everything!! @@HauntedEden Oh, Ima work in some “celebration sessions” that day lol. Usually, if it falls on a weekday, the wife works from home or takes the day off to be here when they all get outta school or when it’s on a weekend she will stay home with the kids and I drive the hour north to spend the day with my bff. But since prom is the same day, I can’t celebrate the whole day lol. But I’ll get a lil Smokey garage time throughout the day.
But you know what, that kid deserves it all. She lived w her birth mom until the end of 4th grade, then she started 5th grade living with us full time. She struggled in school and was only at a 3rd grade level even being in 5th grade. But, allow me brag about my child for a minute ❤️ She has busted her ass in school. She’s been in choir since 5th grade and in HS she’s made Bella Voce and varsity choir, she’s president of Bella Voce and the art club. Since the start of sophomore year she’s stayed on the highest honors list for her grades, she also made national honors society for art and got involved with the drama department and did a school musical this year. She will have like 3-4 cords at graduation next month. And it’s because of her grades and involvement in music and arts that out of her graduating class of 800, she was 1 of only 200 kids invited to go to England and study music and arts for 2 weeks. She was accepted into like 5 different schools for college. But she’s going to BGSU to major in Travel and Hospitality with a minor in media production. She’s come a long way from the little girl who came in as a new kid in school and struggled to read at her grade level ❤️❤️❤️ I’m SOOOO fkn proud of her

If others weren't on the internet to hear your story, then why would it be important to tell your story, in the first place, and post it online?

Thats awesome that you know your history and true history. This is one of the reasons why most natives are closed off and guard their culture, heritage and even stories. There are many tribes and natives out there and each of them have their own perspective on things and how much one should share and if it even should be shared. While natives rather not share and talk about certain things, other natives dont mind sharing and talking about certain things because that is how they learn about their culture as well.
It all depends on who you are talking to, what tribe and their culture are.
