The amount of music they’ve made is insane. I wondered if this album would be on the same level as previous ones, purely because of how quick they’ve been in their output. It definitely is.
4 studio albums in 4 years? That hardly seems out of the ordinary, but if you think that is insane check out King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.
@@DrTurdsley an album a year for 4 years is fucking mental in my eyes. The artists I’m into aren’t anywhere near that, although I’m not really into the genres you’d put Idles in I guess. I don’t want to sound like a hippy, but, they’re like transcendent, dude. 🤣
@@terenceflynn5125 Maybe my opinion is a bit skewed since a few bands I'm into released two albums this year, another released a double album. Don't worry about looking like a hippy, I recommended King Gizzard, lol.
@@DrTurdsley King Gizzard is definitely not the norm though. They are mad (in amazing way of course). Most bands take years to make an album so Idles are a rare oddity, but it is great!

Yes!!! In-Utero was the first thing that came to mind for me as well. It’s probably my favorite section on the album.
To me it felt like the end of Pixies song.

They carry an incredible energy playing live that people love and feed off. They are extremely unique but are not for everyone, understandably. But there is no denying they are intense live.
