By the gods, you can literally buy two of these and you're already set to go, mini studio build in two small devices for a very approacheable price. KORG, you guys are the best!
yes but they did not manage to fix the broken snare on the beats for years now, they just don't give a f***. customers are forced to solder and risk their warranty. what an asshole move, by the gods.
@@voltijuice8576 it's not about taste, it's about not soldering in a part where one belongs ... it's like buying a Drumkit and you just get the snare stand, but not the snare. And the manufactuer says: "Oh, is that important to you? Who wudda thunk!"
korg is incredibly creative in thinking and realizing products (think about the "logo" series), after this process they are an low-average company, with a poor customer service, lazy distributors etc. it's a pity, for instance Arturia is amazing from A to Z.
smells fishy xD it really surprises me how they just don't care and keep selling broken volcas for years. but if they find enough customers... why have it fixed if nobody cares.
@@couchcamperTM What's broken? Sure there are flaws, like with the volume turned all the way up it sometimes causes the Volcas to go off sync (which you can turn the volume down to fix and up the mixer gain), but broken?
@@mikeexits the snare on the beats is, and there's plenty of videos on how to fix it, but no fix from the maker... that's why I don't buy one (adding midi out is simple in comparison)
@@mikeexits while we are at it, I found a guy in the UK selling modded volca beats to people like me, who can't solder for 50ct. (musicmachines on ebay) I paid only a tenner more than what Korg is regularely asking for. well worth it.
Hey, very very new to the music making sphere and I just received a volca beats. I'm finding it really great and easy to use especially as a beginner. It's not hard to just make a beat. And then experiment with the sounds and how they work. Can't wait to get my hands on a second volca to have them work together.
Just read your comment a year later! & come across this tutorial.. how have you gotten on with your volca bass?? I’ve got the volca beats and thinking of adding the bass to my slowly growing collection!! Cheers buddy, marco
I just wish that changing the sequence happened at the top of the bar instead of happening immediately. This way it would be easier to switch to a B section with multiple volcas for example.
totally agree with you on that one, it does seem a bit of a daft move not to include that, and for me thats a huuuuge dealbreaker, as you say for multiple volcas yo just cant do it easily as it is
Hey there. The volca fm and volca sample are the only volca's that are stereo out. Mini trs to dual mono qtr inch for those. Then mini trs to quarter mono for the rest
hi please can you help me? i have volca sample and bass, when i connect those to a mixer (i have a little cheap one) they sound very low the mixer have 4 input stereo that can be switched to 8 mono and same output how i can connect them without loosing volume output? thx......
I all 6 Volca's and the 2 Monotron's. Where can the patches, (or Packs) be found and which one's allow for you to download them into which devices that have that feature? I also have a PS60. After 2 years, I finally turned it ON. Lame, right!? I know there are plenty of RUclips's. But how do you go about plugging all of these in together? Which IN which OUT!
I've recently bought my first couple volcas, got the original trio. What's the best mixer to get for the cheapest price? I am to be adding more equipment at later dates once I know these 3 in depth, but for the meantime I need a little cheap mixer just to get the volcas running through my active monitors. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers. Xx
Another Volca demo, but nothing here about setting up and running a live set. Video title is misleading. This is great to listen to, sure, but nothing to do with the video title.
I love my Volcas, but this guy makes me want to sell them......good god, talk about negative enthusiasm, this guy couldn't inspire me to scratch my ass after a rush-job wipe...(Smell my finger?.....nahhhh, what's the point..it'll just smell booooring)
I have a monotribe 2.0, a bass, a keys and the drum. AMAZING PRODUCTS GUYS! ❤ U KORG ❤ RDO

@@couchcamperTM - No drum sound is going to be everyone's taste. My old KPR-77 sounds downright odd, but I dig it.

I love videos like this. Things are explained, not just washed through. I have learned a ton! Makes me wanna buy a Volca army!
Yep.. I’m definitely korg volca converted!!💯🤟🏼 got the volca beats ,now the collection begins-: bass next! Great little pieces of kit 👍🏼👌🏼
I love how he mentions the kick on the Beats, and doesn't even mention the snare. Korg knows.

Oh thats it, i'm buying three of them right now. Great video!!! Great sales pitch.
Love how Luke just goes in making a set while Gaz is trying his hardest to talk about the Volcas like a pro and not freak out xD
When the FM came out I thought "Nice but I've already got a TX7 so why would I need that?" You've just answered that question for me!
Amazing bruh I'm a korgHead now lol ❤ RDO
Great vid! I really gotta spend more time on my Volca's and get the family complete. 🙂
Gotta love Luke from Korg
Luke explains everything more straightforward and not like he’s from outer space 🪐

Nice if the volca kick was built into the beats
Furshure and the kick they really needed to make less of them and put them more in a few because some seem really close to one another
hey guys! nice video! quick question, are you using 1/8"TRS - dual 1/4"TS cables to connect bass/keys/beats to your mixer??
I have the same. Question???

The headphone out is technically stereo, so if you get a 1/8 mini to 1/4 stereo you get more volume and headroom.
I am now more interested in counting how many times he says "Nice"...great product though.

Is it like a plugin in DAW? if i use DAW like flstudio this i dont need a volca?
As I understand u cant save the presets on these volcas, only patterns. Correct me if I am wrong, please
Hello! Which of these volca do you think is the best choice for cyberpunk-style bass lines?
Nice.
From where is the flight case available and for how much?
I want this whole set

I got rid of the kick... I tried using it but it didn't mesh well with my set up.
