mgk was sorta famous before eminem beef, he was known for his lace up, general admission, and bloom album. People say he switched genres after em beef, when he had already applied punk flows into some of his songs in bloom album in 2017. He was going for the lil wayne approached with a more punk rock into his rap.

Yeah bro people really can’t put beef aside and admit this was a really good diss track! I loved Eminem since grade school found MGK a couple years after and loved them both the mother of my child was freaking out when this happened knowing I was torn apart. I took mushrooms the night killshot came out and my whole trip was listening to both songs and I love them both. hotel Diablo came out after the diss and MGK killed it. Then he went number one back to back in a new genre he is so versatile idk how anyone can turn that into a diss..

Then went on to also make to certified gold punk rock albums, which if you research mgk you’ll know he’s very big on punk and did songs long before he was a name. And now is back rapping again. Mgk is just talented. Emeinem didn’t make him switch genres
