- I got a really lovely surprise recently when Arbsession sent me their entire bag line. I got notice that I would be receiving a package, but I had no idea what it would be. I don't have any gear bags like these, I usually just use a duffle bag at work and I used a Patagonia Ascensionist for tree and rock rec climbing for the last six or so years. They feel so premium and I love how durable the material feels. The rope bucket is the best one I have ever seen. It's so ridged and doesn't frustrate by collapsing when flaking the rope into it. The only rope bucket I've used that I find comparable is the DMM Transit bags. Can't wait to use them more. Right now I use the Climb tote and the Rope tote, but I'll have to bring the Gear tote+ at some point to give it a try. Thank you so much again Casey and all the lovely people at Arbsession!

Heck yeah I love seeing your vids man
Cool vid, plenty of info. Got to say your Arb product knowledge is spooky .. ever thought of compiling an Arb enclopedia ? 👍
Thank you! I appreciate it, but I definitely don’t know enough to compile a work like that. I do really love ropes so maybe someday I’d compile a rope guide.
❤ 16:42 and on is the B-Roll mood I think we can all get behind! Puts you in a perfect zen!
I run 14 inch on my echo 2511t same set up stihl polesaw bar and chain. 0.43 does full size removals daily.
Saw again sells them. Arbsession might sell them.monkey beaver sells them
Do you need an adapter (besides the 1/4 pitch gear) for the Stihl bar to fit the Makita, or need to modify the oil hole? I have the 36v(18v X 2) XCU09 that cuts pretty well with the stock 3/8 pitch, but am considering converting to 1/4 pitch. Also, I am thinking about getting the XCU06 to have a lighter saw on hand, as the larger XCU09 is pretty heavy with two 5Ah batteries.
With my XCU06 I did not need an adapter, but you do need a very specific chain. Stihl sells 2 1/4” pitch chains for a 12” bar and you must use the 65 drive link chain instead of the 64. Otherwise yes all you need is the sprocket!
If may ask?why are you spikeing a prune
The part I was removing was very large relative to the tree and didn’t not have great work positioning options, so I opted to spike the part I was removing. I ascended on single rope to avoid damaging the part of the tree I was to leave and I spiked only the dead part.
Yea I figured
Was just communicating. Had asked you something on other video s but never heard back..thanks
Liked your spike idea the difference in size
That shouldn't over heat from that .brother .something ain't rite.with the saw .but I've only seen the 2 battery one..getting the makita dril for my grcs from arbsession soon.
It's the single battery that is getting hot on such a big cut (especially if it is getting close to being low), it "talks" to the saw and shuts it down to prevent battery damage.

Did you say “poon” or “prune”? Sounded like you said “poon”…
