There was an A&W root beer stand in town. My parents would buy a gallon of root beer in a glass bottle. If they took the empty bottle back, they could get a discount off of a new bottle. The root beer was pretty good and it was not carbonated.
They're moving across hwy 169 & building a new store. Which will be 100,000 square feet, making it the largest candy store in the world. Scheduled to open in 2027.
It will open in 2027, it will then be the largest candy store in the world with the next closest candy store only being 40,000 square ft. THAT IS IMPRESSIVE!!

Yeah unfortunately the family that runs it is super conservative and tried to claim they were an essential business and stay open. They also openly supported Trump. Its a really cool place but this stuff ruined my comfort in spending money there. I don't have to agree with others but I also don't have to spend money with them if I don't want to
