"This weeks?" I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I haven't heard from you guys in a month. I've been subbed for years. Serious question. Has it been over a month or have you been putting out weekly vids and I'm not getting them?
My grandmother had a cabin in southern Michigan near the town of Dowagiac. She lived by a body of water called dewey lake and it was pretty much paradise. It’s quiet peaceful and serene. But one night my grandmother called me in a frightened state. I had been spending the weekend at a resort down the road with my girlfriend, so I was very close by. She explained in a panicked voice that a bear had been trying to break down her door and she was scared. Me and my buddies immediately drove over with some shotguns and we expected to see a black bear or something digging in our trash, and we knew we could probably just yell at it or honk the car horn to get it to run away. We showed up but there wasn’t anything there. The door frame was damaged and it certainly looked like claw marks. But what I found interesting was that the trash cans where completely untouched. Whatever it was had lost interest and left. My grandmother was fine, just a bit shook. She said it was a black bear and she had seen it through the windows. She also noted it was walking on two legs and was “quick as the devil” It’s not too crazy of a story, but something didn’t sit well with me, a black bear being fast on two legs. My grandmother would develop memory problems later in her life, but at this point her mind was still pretty sharp. We believed her. Just one problem. There are no bears in Dowagiac Michigan. There haven’t been bears in that town in over 150 years. Another point, I don’t think my grandmother had ever seen a bear outside of a couple visits to the zoo. I wouldn’t rely on her for identifying animals at night. I don’t know what my grandmother saw, but I don’t think it was a bear. Oh, and guess what, Dewey lake also has a dog man legend. I don’t know if I believe it. But I don’t laugh away those stories the same way I used too.
Your grandmother probably saw a dogman two legs and was "quick as the devil". It's funny how she used the term devil when people have referenced dogmen/werewolves as demons.
I live in Clarksville, right next door to a LOT of the places you’ve featured: The Kelly Green Men, the Bell Witch, and now this. It feels good that our creepy little corner of the world gets some attention.
Thats right, The Hopkinsville Goblins. I believe other Cryptids are connected with the UFO phenomenon also. Thats includes Bigfoot! My own personal belief.
I used to live in Clarksville when I was stationed down there in fort Campbell! Wish I'd known about all these paranormal stories from the area when I was there, I'd def have gone investigating!
About a decade ago, we had a family get together in this exact place. Camped there and everything. I recall this one area on the campground gave me a bad feeling the first day we were there, so I avoided it on my walk. The next day, we went out on a pontoon boat and brought some jet skis. The place felt real weird at first, but once we got going and to a different area it seemed to relax. Still kind of lingered though and I felt that we were being watched, either by campers beyond the trees or something, at several points. Never knew about the dog men until just this year... Needless to say I’d be much more freaked out back then if I’d known the stories at the time.
If you feel you are being watched, you are being watched. One time a rock came flying towards me, so I threw it back and a few more, thinking it was my friends. I heard a grunt and a big rock came flying, I quickly effed off. That grunt came from a very large primate human thing. I never stuck around or even looked backed.
@@JackDiamond21 imagine throwing the big rock back only for a fuckin' boulder to be chucked at you in return-now that would be pure comedy gold besides the terror in the moment for ya'
My family has had a house on the shores of one of the lakes since the 70s, and I spent a huge amount of time in my childhood on the lakes and the land between. This is my first time hearing about any of these stories, but I will say there is an atmosphere in the unsettled woods. I have never felt it to be malevolent or oppressive in any way, but I guess that's good because whatever it is had hundreds of unsupervised hours with me and left me untouched. My family still visits a few times a year, so I will keep my eyes peeled and report anything interesting back.
Do it but don't go looking for snakes ,you might find them. As in try not to project that intention so as not to draw it in 😁 Ukno what I mean? ✌️ Yeah ukno 😎😎💯 Oh yeah Umm FJB 💯
Yes, I think we were never bothered is mostly because we were quiet - no guns/target practice/fireworks - and we weren't looking for them. I am certain that we were watched, but we were respectful of the woods, so we were probably not worth the bother of an attack. I do think that some of them are dangerous no matter what. We were just lucky/blessed to still be alive & well. 🐺👀🤔
I remember being a kid in the 80s and only getting this kind of content from television series like Unsolved mysteries. BTS caters more toward my interests and honetly has better production value than anything television may have offered in times past.
Wonderful story, as always. My family's from Kentucky and I spent 8 summers, during my teens, with grandparents who had retired to Lake Cumberland near the town of Monticello. That whole region of southern KY is full of strangeness. I had an experience with a blinding light thru a bedroom window one night. Out in the middle of nowhere. There was no sound associated with it. There were approximately 5-7 houses on that road then and only two families that lived there full time. The town of Hellier is east of Monticello and Monticello is east of the Land between the Lakes. That entire region sits a top the Mammoth Cave system which has vast amounts of quartz crystal.
Everything by those caves has paranormal issues, weather it's mammoth, the caves in the arizona new Mexico 4 corners area, the massive systems in South America or Africa they all have high paranormal happenings in b their area, also certain coastal regions
I’ve visited Mammoth Cave several times and never witnessed anything out of the norm or “paranormal.” I hadn’t heard these stories until now. Interesting and creepy.
@@joyfullydreaded1371 Check out piezoelectricity. I know, it sounds like a nightmare, but type that into wiki. Piezo electricity. What it means is, that certain substances like crystalline rock (e.g. quartz), but also non-crystalline mineral substances and even DNA can deform under electrical influence - and vice versa. Meaning, if a lightning hits quartz rock, it can cause deformations in the rock (but not just in the way lightning would break other types of rock)... and vice versa quartz itself can also generate electricity by mechanical pressure. This effect is already used in mechanics, so it's absolutely a real thing confirmed by science... but... There is a fringe theory about lightning, earthquakes and quartz caves, that states, that putting large quartz systems under electrical or mechanical pressure could bend spacetime and serve as somewhat of a natural time machine. I'm not saying that this is real; I'm no physicist and won't pretend that I have superior knowledge about this. For all I know it's science fiction. Yet, what if it's NOT aliens or transdimensional beings opening up portals into alternate universes, but simple, pure physical effects? I find it interesting to speculate, that maybe the Kentucky goblins or that dogman creature or the beings at Skinwalker Ranch could be time/dimension travellers, who are drwan to certain places on Earth because of active piezoelectric cave/rock systems.
I live in the uk unfortunately, but I'd love to get down the Mammoth cave system at some point. It's so much bigger than our biggest cave systems (3 counties and OFD come to mind) and even those systems are like 70km long lol. There are do many caves in the world and so little time to explore them all
There's tales about mysterious lights from all around Tennessee. My grandma talked about how her dad's Family would say one of the reasons they didn't go out after dark was because of the lights. They'd chase you down the path gaining ground only to stop right at the fence line of the home.
I was in a cave near Pigeon Forge, used by moonshiners. I bet they have stories of what (or who) they've found in those caves. Those lights sound like some other people (or aliens) keeping you away from their business.
@@500dollarjapanesetoaster8 well I'm sure some do that. But she said you could see them floating in the air by itself, and they weren't lantern lights. They were in every sense balls of light. She said they'd see them way off in places nobody goes cause it's really rough terrain, and everything would go quiet when they're near. They were also seen in the daytime too
did you ever figure out why it didn't go past the fence? Maybe hallowed ground? Or maybe something long covered up that may have belonged to a church or a very God-devoted family?
I love how sparingly you use animations in this series. The motorhome door opening and closing after 12:45 was creepy as hell! The storyline will likely have me leaving the lights on after I go to bed (and I live in New York City!).
THUMBS UP for your straight forward honesty! "It's pretty mush a reprint of transcripts of our videos, so don't buy it if you are expecting anything different!" I very mush respect and appreciate honesty! I also note your shows are nearly completely kid friendly, so I would recommend it for older kids who want some light spook!
So, I live in Hungary, in a small village, surrounded by forest. When I was in my late 10s esrly 20s, I went nearl every night to one if my friends, to smoke cigarettes, talk about stuffs, etc. There are two kinds of roads to him from our house, the longer one where there are street lights, a nice road, And there is another, which is shorter but not with even a single light source, through some fields, soccer field and shrubs and trees. So once when I walked on this dark road to home, I heard some strange noises when I passed by an old building. It was like kinda mixed dog and human wheezing , closer and closer to me. I was so freaked outh that I nearly took off from the ground, ran home like flash. Never went there at night again. Theres another story. Same place, and with one of my friends we sat at a campfire when we just felt that someone or something is running towarda us, halted near at the fires outline and stares at us, the interesting oart was that we did not said a word about it to each other, just suddenly we felt the same and started to run away exactly at the same time We paid attention to the fire from one of the narest street light from another street, then after a while we went back to the fire, put out the fire and went home

I live in roane county TN and I’ve heard stories my entire life about this place, and if you ever get to go there, there’s a certain heavy feeling in the air when your there, it could just be me psyching myself out based off my memory of the stories but having heard them then visiting here will keep you on your toes
Still another terrific creepy story. I've heard about the family killings a couple months ago and have heard the interview with Roger. He sounds convincing but it is also suspect when a convenient witness arrives out if the blue. It's not evidence but the campsite has supposedly been eradicated with even the utility poles cut down. The area is also relatively near Fort Campbell, location of some strange encounters from Wartime Stories.
Yeah. You would think the police would have tried to pin the deaths on him rather than deal with the whole Dogman phenomenon. I’ve heard the details from a police report with no reference to a witness so I’m skeptical. I’ve also seen a Dogman channel recently get enthralled with someone claiming to have been a Dogman hunter for the government. He tells stories that make no sense but some of the channel members still believe him. The point being, I wouldn’t put it past someone to pretend they were a witness. I’m also fairly certain it was the police report that said some of the girls remains were found in a tree, but I can’t be certain of that.
I dunno guys, that last story sounded like a work of pure fiction. He wants us to believe that Dogmen brutally and efficiently wiped out everyone besides him for apparently no other reason than to do it. They didn't eat them, didn't steal anything, didn't search for anything, then they departed as soon as they were done. Also, somehow despite being at least part canine they couldn't smell him hiding under the camper¿? Fear supposedly puts off a smell that certain animals (including canines) can smell. He was that close to them, putting off this smell of fear and by some miracle they didn't pick up on it¿? I'm not a skeptic, I believe that this world still has many mysteries to be solved and creatures to find. However, I'm just having a hard time believing this cat. I'm going to go watch the interview with him and see how I feel after that. If anything actually did happen I think it was 2 degenerate Furries all messed up on an illicit substance.
Bedtime Stories is probably one of my favorite true story paranormal ,high strangeness content creators. I always look forward to them and never miss an episode.
I kind of love the mom in the one story. She comes home to find the kids terrified and hiding under a bed, her son is bleeding and her niece is armed with the kitchen knives. They tell her the story and her response is, “Welp, gonna check this out,” apparently without a thought for her own safety. No wonder the cryptid fled-that’s Mama Bear energy.
Doesn't matter the species, a mother will fight until the death to protect her children. My mom once saved me from a pitbull, and seeing her doing that made me jump in. None of us were injured, but the dog died, I couldn't take seeing my mom in panic. So I gave her the same respect, I honestly just grabbed it's back legs and just kept pounding it into the ground as my mom beat it with a big 4x4 plank. Don't ask where she got it from, she just had it hahaha anyways that isn't nothing compared to what happened here.
I noticed too how the creature was not the least bit hesitant to go after 3 young and small-ish children/teens, but the instant THE MOM drives up honking the horn the beast just apparently takes off. IT KNEW.
@@almishti Moms really do have that special energy that every would be bad person and husband knows about. I guess it comes with the job, gift for putting up with so much.
Could've used that, "Mama bear energy" in the last story, too. Instead, we got the whole family got killed. Assuming, any of these stories are actually true, that is. Lol.
I went camping a couple of times here and hated every minute of it. That’s besides the point. We would always go to the nearest Walmart to get supplies before setting up and I was always amazed at the number of missing persons posters on the notice board.
I find the stories of Dog Men (cynocephalus) most interesting. We have tales of them going back much further than most people realize. One thing I find fascinating is that we have a lot of stories of interaction with these beings where the witness(es) come in contact with them and, though clearly terrified, are not harmed when the creatures clearly could have done so. Though I believe in the possibility of skinwalkers, I somehow do not think that is what most people are encountering with these beings. Great production, thank you!
Those things are evil spirits, they have to follow certain "rules" about who they can bother and why and to what extent or there will be...repercussions. What fascinates/terrifies me are the "pale crawler" entities. Gaunt, almost skeletal, ghoulish things with glowing silver eyes shining out of dark pits. I might think they were escaped mutants from some government lab, if I didn't know natives in Canada called them "white demons" and warned prospectors about them in the 19th century...
Are they a species of alien? Are they some genetic hybrid? I wonder if they’re in anyway related to the old gods like Anubis, who notably had Dog or jackal like heads
How interesting. I used to go camping as a boy with the Boy Scouts at Land Between The Lakes, but I never heard this story before now. Probably just as well, had I known about this at the time, I can't imagine there would have been too many scouts getting much sleep out there in the middle of nowhere.
My husband is familiar with this area, having lived near it for years. He tells me both Bigfoot and Dogman have been reported there. I wonder why the boy didn't make sure the one that fell down was dead. Fear, I am sure.
Being a boy and scared is part of it of course but another big part would be that the man killed by it had a 20 gauge and it wasn't effective at all...whereas his own 410 shotgun is a much smaller sort even if loaded with more lethal types of ammunition like slugs. A 410 is in fact about the smallest sort of shotgun one can get outside of some specialty "garden guns" which are rare in the US...So not really a better gun than the other guy had and he said he thought there were 2 creatures. I suppose it may also have been a single shot shotgun as those do exist and are quite common as youth guns.
If you’re thinking that there’s more than one creature, would you get close to the downed creature (which could very well be still alive and kill you next if it can reach you) so the other one can come out of nowhere and get you?
I've camped there several times in the Kentucky region during my time in the Boy Scouts of America. I've never known about this legend until recently, and it just makes me wonder what could lurk in those woods.
Assuming Roger's story is true (big assumption, no offense to him) the soldiers he saw probably weren't National Guard soldiers, they were likely Special Forces. There have long been rumors that special operations troops have been used by the government to deal with Cryptids. Also, Guard soldiers would take too long to get ready and deploy as well as be more likely to talk about it later
I'm not naturally inclined to believe in crytids, but what makes me believe Roger's story is I can't find any article regarding their deaths. A very brutal accident killing an entire family in a small town isn't reported by even a local paper? I even checked archives in the neighboring areas. Nothing. Very suspicious.
Oooo! Finally something about LBL ! I live 5 mins away and have hiked thru the states. Lovely area ❤️ and I love your videos. Thank you for covering LBL.
Went to Land Between the Lakes in elementary school for the annual 6th grade trip 2001, we stayed in cabin areas, orienteered in the woods, canoed, etc. never noticed anything that I can recall as a kid but pretty crazy to see a feature of a place I’ve actually been on BTS! Good job guys!
The thing about that “mudered family” story is that the ‘80s were not prehistoric. When entire families disappear, they leave behind families, friends, coworkers, supervisors, classmates, teachers, etc - all of whom are wondering why they stopped calling, emailing, showing up to school or work. And those people call police, talk to media, put up missing person posters, and publicize the family’s disappearance. And there are no names of this family associated with the story, no history, no concerned friends and family. Believers claim that police, friends, jobs - the entire lives of all these people were erased and covered up by a Park Service that seems to have more power than the CIA. This smells like BS. People do die or go missing in state and national parks without anybody trying to cover it up. Even if something lethal happened it would be far easier to claim it was a rogue animal attack or a human killer than to erase four people from public records, and from the memory of the friends and family they must have. This particular story is folklore, and if somebody says he witnessed it I would challenge him to come up with a surname and dates. (And really, how often do families with young kids invite teenage boys they just met to go RVing with them?) Nobody AFAIK has been able to link “Levi and Connie” to real people, although they should appear in public records such as driver licences, tax rolls, etc, not to mention police reports.
Like the Butter. I live in North East Tennessee and there are so many tales and I’ve personally had multiple experiences with witnesses that it’s hard for anyone that lives here to deny something like you speak of lurks under the canopy of the Cherokee National Forest and surrounding forests.
Thanks for doing this episode. In the past decade I have heard several encounters of strange creatures in LBL. According to many tales it's the eastern portion of the park that hosts the tales of the strange & frightening cryptids. I remember one from Sasquatch Chronicles about a guy who casually went for a Bigfoot searching drive in the eastern side of the park and encountered a group of Bigfoot stalking a deer herd. The encounter scared him witless, and his voice shook as he told Wes about it. The strange and gruesome deaths of the family in the RV are well known in the Bigfoot and Dogman enthusiast communities. Roger's version of the tale was interesting and made me wonder anew why the family was attacked.
The story of the land between the lakes freaks me out every time I hear it. I’m a 6ft 3inch 275lb man who lives in the middle of the woods and this story chills me to the bones. I believe this really happened to this family and it makes me sick just thinking about it.
@@sephelutis same reason a cat might not eat a mouse, it just wants to kill for the pleasure of killing. Knowing well it could do it and get away with it without consequences.
I’ve just finished watching all of the episodes and love your channel so much and are perfect while doing schoolwork and I look forward to new episodes in the future keep up the amazing work
Love you guys best channel on RUclips hands down, your stories got me through a bad time when I was a recovering addict and still do, thank you for all you've done to make my life better, keep the stories coming, just to let you know I tracked down a door that was a original part of the Golden Eagle I hung it in my room lol
I spent a lot of time in these woods in the early 2000s. I was stationed at Ft. Campbell. My weekends were either spent camping in land between the lakes or in Nashville. I still think about that area. I miss it.
Love your videos. Watch them soon as they come out and often fall asleep listening to them. I live in east TN and it's pretty cool to hear of these entities that are fairly close
Wolf like creatures have always creeped me out. Even as a kid watching the Harry Potter movies and the scene where one of the professors transformed into a werewolf I had to rewatch it more than a dozen times just to see it so I wouldn’t be terrified of it.
Another great video! The story with the 3 kids had my heart beating!!!😳 I was so scared for them. I heard that Roger guy on Paranormal Roundtable with Joedy Cook from The North American Dogman Project. Man, they went at it! It was intense. And last I heard, everyone is saying Roger was lying.🤷🏾♀️ Alls I know is that my a$$ ain't never trying to see one of these things..... EVER.
Congratulations on your novels, must order them both soon. The land between the lakes sounds like a great place to go camping for the week. I will just remember to bring soon dog food and dog whistles, that should keep them at bay for a while. take care guys.
This channel needs to spread around more on youtube. Everything about this channel should have millions of subscribers. I could see this doing good on adult swim. Since they do 15 minute episodes.
I heard the real interview Roger did and he seemed very believable! Also I have heard other people who have encountered similar creatures while out hunting in the LBL. Also it seems like Kentucky and Tennessee have a lot more aggressive dogmen who attack and kill people compared to other parts of the country to where people encounter dogmen but are not attacked by them. But I love this channel!! One of my favorites for sure thanks for all the great content!
I’m starting to get a feeling that this dogman and the more commonly known variant is two of the same species, just that one is a subspecies of the original. As a Michigan man I’m biased when I think the Great Lakes Dogman is the parent/original Dogmen species, but with this southern creature, I could be wrong due to how the climate is different in that region, so that means GL Dogmen have adapted better to their northern climate and have developed better brains when handling human interactions, meanwhile the southern Dogman has more in line with more animalistic behavior similar to that of a cat playing with a mouse. So such things as killing simply to kill without care of the consequences is a more likely outcome with this species.
Me and some friends took a long weekend fishing and hunting trip at this area in 2011. Eerily, we arrived and began to set up camp. I grew up in the north woods of Minnesota so I never go in to nature without my rifle and a side arm. One of my friends, Erin screamed with terror i never heard in her voice. We all left to a sprint running her way (I figured she crossed paths with a big black snake or maybe even a lynx) i took several strides and thought "oh hell..the damn rifle" i reversed course and retrieve my M1a from the cab of my truck and sprinted off to the treeline. As I was about to enter, my party was exiting in a panic. Erin's boyfriend Mark was yelling "shoot shoot!!!" As he ran directly passed me. I took a aim in to the woods at a low elevation (still convinced this was all over a damn cat) but I heard the most terrifying snarl and growl like nothing I've heard before. A large "wolf" on its hind quarters approaching at a sprint toward me. I raised aim and unloaded a 20 round mag of .308 (to be honest the last 5 rounds or so was fired as I was retreating as fast as I could in a reverse jog) and you know what? Nothing exited the treeline, no yelps if pain as a wolf would let out from a hit. Just that blood curdling howl. My friends were shouting " forget it man lets go!!" Since they all were already in the truck and had engine running, I ran and left into the bed and Mark speed off in reverse before spinning around to exit the area completely. We drove several minutes before reaching a gas station and calling 911. When a couple officers showed we described the events and such best we could remember. I was like oh crap, now they're gonna investigate, we are gonna have to stay here and I was sure they were gonna have me hand over my rifle. And none of that. The older officer asked if anyone was injured, when we replied no were just shook up he said. Whoever is driving needs to take a few minutes and gather yourself and you all head straight back home. We left. Left the camping equipment and the boat/trailer which was the only thing we recovered a couple months later. And I didn't even wanna go back for that
I heard a scary story it was about Josef Stalin's daughter after she she came here to the USA in Wisconsin she lived in fear duh, just before she went to the nursing home where she died she had an encounter with what could happen to be the beast of bray road she lived not to far from the area she never did leave her house alone sad. Always kept the windows closed and the doors locked.
Love the superficial superiority you lot get just because your parents *happened* to move to the city. Congrats. And now you live with anxiety, depression and the rest of the world has to live with you. Cheers boys🤣🍺
I've missed you guys. Where've you been, and welcome back. Now, you know me, I'm your unashamed resident sceptic; if I were American I'd be a fully paid up man from Missouri. What puzzles me about the massacre story is how the monsters were harmed, even, it seems, killed by a gun. The comments about the spread of buckshot are certainly valid, but if these things are paranormal, any kind of gun or other weapon wouldn't hurt them, surely? At least I now know what a 'loup garou' is - I'd only heard of it in the old Basil Rathbone film "Sherlock Holmes and the Scarlet Claw". (Turned out to be the village postman, using a weeder as a weapon to both kill and disfigure at the same time.)
Sometimes when I hear accounts of cryptids like dogmen and legends like the wendigo, I wonder if there is some species of feral human or humanoid, carnivorous creatures wandering in the woods.
Although I believe this particular story is fake- just a creepy pasta, but I don't discount the numerous sightings of things that people have seen, while hunting, camping or hiking. The Wendigo thing is probably the scariest thing of all of them.
Relationships between trappers and the Shawnee were strained (at best): The Battle of Fallen Timbers, Siege of Boonesborough, Blackfish, Tecumseh. In fact, if caught by the Shawnee, trappers were often killed.
A friend and I were 4-wheeling out in Green Swamp which is part of the Withlacoochie forest in central Florida and we heard "something" and have no clue what is was. I pretty much know the sounds of wildlife in the region but that thing!? Scary.
I'm from rural Ozark County Missouri, about a 4 hour drive west of Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley. Land Between the Lakes has always been a favorite spot to catfish and set trotlines. It's a very interesting place- they are man made reservoirs with hydro-electric dams operated by the Army Corps of Engineers, and trains of coal tugs moving coal on the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. I've never experienced anything like what's described in this story but I've definitely seen a few instances of unexplainable aerial phenomena in this place. There's also definitely some micro-ecosystems of local flora and fauna that are only found in this area. Unfortunately there have also been Asian White Carp introduced in recent years which can out-compete most of the fish species that prefer to rely on a similar diet. This unfortunately includes Blue Cat and Channel Cat as well as catch and release sport bass. LBTL is a magical place. There's various museums onsite, including the hydro-electric dams and associated history such as the towns that needed to be flooded for the projects, homesteading showcases, an elk and bison range, an observatory, forestry exhibits, etc. It's huge, it'll take you years to see everything this seemingly small place has to offer. Go see if you have the opportunity.
Okay there isn't a lot that spooks me anymore but these two stories definitely had me looking over my shoulder a minute ago when I went to take the trash out! Bigfoot and Dogmen just really creep me out. Anything larger than me, bipedal and slightly human-looking just gives me the shivers. Must be that "uncanny valley," notion. I don't like creepy things that look like humans, but not at the same time. I used to have a recurring dream (or maybe memory?) when I was little of a Bigfoot face looking in at me from my bedroom window. My bedroom was on the second floor, at least 20 feet off the ground so I don't know how anything could stand outside my window at night but I definitely had this "dream," numerous times as a child.
Best channel ever!!! Not really into the dog man stuff but I am binging this channel and making this comment because it is just chock full of every single thing that fascinates me! Between the subject matter, excellent narration and awesome illustration style, I am totally hooked!!! Thanks guys!
Wartime Stories related in stories from Fort Campbell which is just east of this area. The encounters in that story are reminiscent of this story in encountering cryptids. Not to mention the Bell Witch cave isn't too far removed either.

Camping there in the mid-90s had the same feeling of being watched. Was put at un ease. Never heard of any stories of this area until years later

Quartz explains a lot if you're sensitive to that type of energy.

Family would say one of the reasons they didn't go out after dark was because of the lights. They'd chase you down the path gaining ground only to stop right at the fence line of the home.

Those lights sound like some other people (or aliens) keeping you away from their business.
@@500dollarjapanesetoaster8 well I'm sure some do that. But she said you could see them floating in the air by itself, and they weren't lantern lights. They were in every sense balls of light.

When I was in my late 10s esrly 20s, I went nearl every night to one if my friends, to smoke cigarettes, talk about stuffs, etc.
There are two kinds of roads to him from our house, the longer one where there are street lights, a nice road,
And there is another, which is shorter but not with even a single light source, through some fields, soccer field and shrubs and trees.
So once when I walked on this dark road to home, I heard some strange noises when I passed by an old building.
It was like kinda mixed dog and human wheezing , closer and closer to me.

Supposedly Roger's story was discovered to be false after a falling out with another paranormal podcast he appeared on several times.
@@lindalumae Yeah this channel is BS, I know which one You are talking about.

Just what I was thinking. She didn't doubt the kids at all, was just gonna go out and handle that so-and-so.
IT KNEW.

@@firecracker187 why would I make that up? My ex wife was from Paris and liked going there. Maybe Benton but this was also 20 years ago.
People are obsessed with Bigfoot, but Dogman is where its at.
What kind of weirdo would like Werewolves? 😏
@@Werewolf914 I have it on good authority that at least 914 people do.

its based on a creepy pasta.
Because it never happened

Assuming Roger's story is true (big assumption, no offense to him) the soldiers he saw probably weren't National Guard soldiers, they were likely Special Forces. Also, Guard soldiers would take too long to get ready and deploy as well as be more likely to talk about it later

I also went there for a sixth grade trip several years prior to your trip. Must be a sixth grade thing.
You guys are by far and away my favorite channel on RUclips. Keep up the strong work ladies and gentlemen.

There is no eastern portion, it's a narrow strip of land running north and south.

Heard a trucker say one followed him along the highway around there late at night for several miles. He was doing 60 and it had no problem keeping up.
Or, due to the remoteness of other places, less victims of dogmen are ever confirmed in those places.
@@xb0xisbetter right. they're usually blaimed on a pack of wild dogs, the owners pet dog or a bear.
@Lou Icious the Werewolf which ones?
Thanks for uploading new story line video again, Greetings from New Zealand.
And I didn't even wanna go back for that
That's one hell of a story! I for one, appreciate it!
15 shots from a .308 and took it, that's nearly unbelievable.
thanks for keeping me up all night :) even though its hard to believe these stories are true, its still fun to listen to.
What a great episode. These stories were creepy as hell!
What an excellent episode, loved the animation, the sound effects and the use of music. Always enjoy the cryptid stories too hahaha, thanks folks!
Thank you for always posting great videos!
Amazing content! I really love these video’s
Sad. She fled one murderous beast only to find another!
Masterful production, Richard! Bravo!👏
I'm quite familiar with this part of the country. Half-man-half-dog isn't cryptid, in most areas its considered "the county population."
Don't insult dogs like that. Or any canine species, come to think of it. 🤣
Love the superficial superiority you lot get just because your parents *happened* to move to the city. Congrats. And now you live with anxiety, depression and the rest of the world has to live with you. Cheers boys🤣🍺
Not a way to talk of your women 🤣🤣🤣
I'm southern and that's funny.
😮😂😂🤣🤣
You guys have grown so much absolutely my favorite channel on RUclips
Another great episode, thank you!
The animation/storytelling is exemplary
Your content is always top notch! Thank you for all your hard work
oooo~ a new one, been a while. While a thorough skeptic I do love your storytelling (music & ambient sounds included)
Same. It's like ghost story before bed and honestly I will never understand people who hardcore believe in this kind of folklore
You guys are seriously the best. Please never stop making videos
Really love your channel. Thanks for the effort you all put in👍🙂👍
Sometimes when I hear accounts of cryptids like dogmen and legends like the wendigo, I wonder if there is some species of feral human or humanoid, carnivorous creatures wandering in the woods.
Don't be surprised. We know more about space than everything on earth.
@@davidortiz3094 Exactly. I live in the Appalachian Mountains, and there are vast areas where people never go.
Although I believe this particular story is fake- just a creepy pasta, but I don't discount the numerous sightings of things that people have seen, while hunting, camping or hiking.
The Wendigo thing is probably the scariest thing of all of them.
@@truthseeker2321 a lot of stuff is creepy pasta but this is not.
@@angrybear86 Proof?
Great episode, thanks for the update.
Relationships between trappers and the Shawnee were strained (at best): The Battle of Fallen Timbers, Siege of Boonesborough, Blackfish, Tecumseh. In fact, if caught by the Shawnee, trappers were often killed.
Don't really blame them.
love how colours & animation have been subtly added to these vids over the years!
The books look great! Well done guys. 👏🏻
Best channel on RUclips!!!
That interview with Roger was fascinating. I had listened to it around the time it was published and it has stuck with me every since.
So fascinating!
Now I can't wait for the 3rd volume.
More success and great endevours to you guys👍👏👏👏
Awesome 😊❤️! Blessful Night!
A friend and I were 4-wheeling out in Green Swamp which is part of the Withlacoochie forest in central Florida and we heard "something" and have no clue what is was. I pretty much know the sounds of wildlife in the region but that thing!? Scary.
One of my favourite channels on RUclips and arguably one of the top ten on the site 👌
I freaking love this channel! ❤️❤️❤️
There are so much stuff of legend and I love your channel, brilliant stuff, 😊
I know it’s a small thing but I love the little bits of animation on top of the gorgeous art. Just makes the already great videos even better 🙂
One of the best yet
Bedtime Stories: The undisputed champion of all things paranormal 🏆
Congrats on the second volume of your book! You guys always do a fantastic job!
Wartime Stories related in stories from Fort Campbell which is just east of this area. The encounters in that story are reminiscent of this story in encountering cryptids. Not to mention the Bell Witch cave isn't too far removed either.
