Also, he may have not interviewed with Mickey Loomis at all. So he could have made the request. Notes from Loomis at the press conference -Whenever asked about the hiring process and any changes the Saints may have made, Loomis repeatedly mentioned Randy Mueller and Dave Ziegler by name as large parts of the process. Ziegler is a personnel advisor for the Saints at the moment, and Mueller is an executive for the team as a senior personnel advisor. Both of these members were not with the team last time around with the head coaching search, both having joined this past offseason, so they will both have prominent roles in the head coaching search and the ultimate decision to be made.

In case any coach takes the job. It'll be on Mickey Loomis watch. I believe T.J.'s report. Aaron Glenn loves New Orleans and wanted to change the losing culture. @James for sure it’s AG wants to bring his boy in, rather than wanting Loomis fired. But you can’t honestly believe there’s nothing going wrong in the Saints FO...
He didn’t say he loved the roster or salary cap. He says he will deal with where they are. Two things can be true. I think he absolutely said this. Who in the hell is an actual fan of Mickey loomis?
Honestly, Mickey has a terrible reputation in the NFL community, and he's so ignorant to it. He's a terrible GM, obviously. And, he has no desire to correct his mistakes or even admit he made them. The franchise has to be flipped completely upside-down in order to get on the right path to success. Everyone can see that except for Loomis and this guy, apparently.
He could've been an assistant to Loomis, and Loomis is not getting the job done. I'm ready for Loomis to go. I really believe that's why Sean Payton got out of here.
Why can't we just face facts? Mickey is placed there by the NFL to babysit Gayle Benson. What other owner is legally obligated to sell their team upon their passing and then the money we be dispersed to New Orleans charities? Gayle has a son most owners would be allowed to leave the team to anyone they want to, but she can't. I say that to say this, the Manning family and probably Mickey will be part of the new ownership group when Mrs. Benson dies. The whole operation has smelt fishy ever since Tom Benson changed his will when he probably wasn't mentally all there. ✌🏿✌🏿✌🏿✌🏿✌🏿✌🏿

DA walked into a bad cap, no qb, and a need to rebuild which the front office didn't see coming. The new coach I would say is walking into a better situation, succeeding 3 miserable years.
Dennis was an elite defensive coordinator and more importantly a top 3 defensive play caller (which is crucial). Having to navigate the whole team was his downfall from day 1
Eli Apple knew Sean was leaving, and we didn't have a clue. 😢The Saints haven't been the same since Sean left. We are the laughing stock in the NFL now.
Nope. Niece try. Aaron Glenn wants a GM that he can build with. Similar to the situation Dan Campbell had in Detroit. Everyone complains about the cap, but no one had a problem when the Saints went all in to win one with Drew. Why are we calling for Mikey Loomis' head? Is he the reason the roster had 30% of the roster injured? Is it Mikey's fault Trevor Penning had two foot surgeries to start his career? People gotta get their heads out their a**
I believe it. Loomis sucks. He may genuinely not have an issue with the current situation with the roster and CAP. It can be fixed eventually. He may not have a personal problem with Loomis. But he may see Loomis as a problem from a operations stand point. And want to work with his own GM that he shares a vision with. Loomis is set in his ways and sorta delusional when it comes to the state of the Saints football team.
That's not totally true, something people have sources very, very, very close to the main guy or to the main people involved. Specially if that source is always right, if you are a journalist you should know that.

@ Aaron Glenn , Darren Rizzi, Mike McCarthy, Anthony Weaver, Mike Kafka, wanted it. Joe Brady, Kellen Moore, Kliff Kingsbury are still playing. I don’t think interviewing all of those candidates say that no one wants to come to New Orleans to coach the Saints. It is about the same time they took when Sean Peyton left.
The nfl considers wins and loses a quarterback stat. When I googled which quarterback has the most wins Tom Brady popped up with 251 and that was on the nfl site, so does Tom Brady not have 251 wins?
@JamesSkrmetta sure. I'm guessing it's like a starting pitcher in mlb. Everybody on the team should get credit for the wins and loses, but ultimately the stat goes to the pitcher for whatever reason

@@JamesSkrmettaBy reading all of the posts, you’re never going to get people to see beyond their own biases. I agree that AG didn’t want Mickey gone. He wanted Lance in. However people are disgruntled with the team and have displaced anger. 🤷♂️
@@NolaBlue He didn't want Mickey as GM its that simple, he wanted him OUT as GM.
James, the GM is the issue. Glenn feels he can come in and fix the cap and roster. He knows Mickey is not the guy.
Also, he may have not interviewed with Mickey Loomis at all. So he could have made the request. Notes from Loomis at the press conference
-Whenever asked about the hiring process and any changes the Saints may have made, Loomis repeatedly mentioned Randy Mueller and Dave Ziegler by name as large parts of the process.
It wouldn't be Glenn's place to make such a demand. However, Glenn had every right to NOT accept Saints offer knowing that he would have to work with Loomis. That is Glenn's right.
Mickey loom is used to be considered one of the best G. MS in the league, but he is definitely taking a tumble from grace. I don't think many coaches want to deal with him. And after the way he handled the dennis allen fiasco I hope he gets fired
He was obviously a smart man and during an interview people tend to say things they don’t mean
It's crazy, especially for a first time head coach. Jets offered him his own GM. It's hard to pass up. If he had a problem with Mickey, then he wouldn't have interviewed at all.
Not true if he felt like he could get his own GM
I requested this video let’s goooo
at least i was one of the few who did
Our GM always let good players & coaches go to other teams because of his procrastinating.. I'm so sick of his as..
When dealing with second hand sources, you have to remember that biases color our perspectives. Thats what game of telephone is trying to convey.
@@reiny9974 There it is
One thing I will say , Aaron Glenn wanted to win but not with Mickey Loomis. Aaron Glenn put that out there so folks will know why the Saints are a losing organization right now. In case any coach takes the job. It'll be on Mickey Loomis watch. I believe T.J.'s report. Aaron Glenn loves New Orleans and wanted to change the losing culture. He knew the GM Loomis is the weakest link at the 🎩 top. The Saints are in Serious trouble folks.
@@MichaelHicks-x7r This isn’t about pro or con for Loomis. This is about how stories get communicated and understood by a fan base.
I thought it was known that he wanted the GM from Detroit to follow him to the new team.
Dammmmm
Are we waiting for Arch?
Drew is the one who BACKED Aaron Glenn...tou font think Drew knew he was going to ask that
I think you csn take away Loomis sucks on a national stage point of view in the football world. Step aside guy. You have been on borrowed time
He wants a new GM that wont mismanage the money
Duece McAllister said in an interview that the story was not true! Duece is as close to the organization as anyone. Why would Aaron Glenn say that especially when Loomis is the one calling him for the interview.
As much as you get things wrong it's crazy you talking about dude
@@millerboi5048 1.Ive never been wrong about anything in my life. 2. I’m not disagreeing with TJ. I think he’s reporting what he was told. Question is was it more about Loomis being out of the picture or Glenn getting a job for his guy? Sounds like it was less about Loomis.
Sean left the team and also tried getting traded to Miami. Reports that Glenn wanted Mickey Gone. I would consider this smoke. Even if the report about Glenn isnt true, there is a faction inside the Saints org that wants him gone. Its the same faction that got Ms Gayle to fire DA.
Welllll Glenn didn't want Mickey gone, just another spot in the front office added.
this is absolutely insane get this guy into asylum immediately didn’t you not watch the almost 30 minute video explaining this. brother there is no faction that wants loomis gone he is in the will, he has yes men all around him or at least are his friends, and even if you don’t know that and even if you didn’t watch the video which obviously you didn’t unless you are delusional, gayle made the decision to fire allen, everyone reported that it was gayle’s decision and gayle forced mickeys hand what are you on about
Why are we being delusional? AG wanted Mickey OUT OF THE WAY He wasnin New Orleans before sonim pretty sure he knows of the ties Mickey has requesting a complete termination of Mickey wasnt a option
I highly doubt he asked saints to move on lol
DA walked into a bad cap, no qb, and a need to rebuild which the front office didn't see coming. The new coach I would say is walking into a better situation, succeeding 3 miserable years.
Dennis was an elite defensive coordinator and more importantly a top 3 defensive play caller (which is crucial). Having to navigate the whole team was his downfall from day 1
@@maxwellhowellElite is a strong word for Dennis Allen
He probably asked someone about it that works in that front office but I doubt he asked Micky lol that's crazy.
@@LuRK504 Glenn? It was 1 Zoom call and Mickey was on it.
People gotta get their heads out their a**
Maybe he was asking if his job would still be secure if they ever decided to move on from Mickey
This is clickbait. You are not giving information of your own, you are just talking about what someone else is talking about.
When Loomis 🔥? = ⏰ is Ticking = This 💨 Is The Beginning of The 🔥 = < Less Than 3 Years Left w/ Loomis
That's not totally true, something people have sources very, very, very close to the main guy or to the main people involved. Specially if that source is always right, if you are a journalist you should know that.
Loomis should be gone anyway. We NEED an entire flip in NO. This whole reactive culture isn’t working, we need to be pro active. We’re always waiting till the last minute to address issues. Let’s ride this 💩 till the wheels fall off and when they fall off, we panic and make dumb decisions , then make excuses as to why things are. Running it back with Loomis is insane and you can’t expect a different outcome!
What’s Aaron Glenn’s HC record again? Lmao yeah I think I’d just take Saleh than have to deal with this mess
That's a FLAT OUT LIE, HE TOLD MOST PEOPLE ESPECIALLY PARCELLS THAT HIS DREAM JOB WILL BE WITH JETS!!!!
I think they get McCarty and call it a day no one else is beating down their doors based on the current state of the roster
Nobody wants to work with Loomis. And i don't blame them.
I believe it. Loomis is not a good GM. Besides we don't know what happened, we weren't in the room. But, it does make since. I wish him much success.
When you GM is Mickey Loomis its not an insane request...lls This isnt a winning GM. Who cares about his relationship to the owner HC do that, and if You have options something like that can be a deciding factor.
I have doubts about this. If Glenn said this why was he scheduled to come in town for a second interview? Just not adding up

Dude. It makes little to no sense to replace loomis. Only certain types of people who want a certain type HC and GM saying this wholeheartedly. Ill leave it at that. . . . LOOMIS IRELAND AND HARTLEY have done a good job of having a roster. Its hard to have every position nailed. We draft decent, not great early, but good over all. . We need a HC with a vision and the leadership and teaching ability to implement that vision.
The Mickey that signed Drew Brees and hired Sean Payton and won New Orleasn its 1st and only Super Bowl. The Saints were pure trash before Mickey
it's time for him to go either way. Mickey Loomis has run his course.
Well the coach that just accepted the Jacksonville jaguars didn't have no cloat but he did what he did and that GM is out the door right
James, there is no one out there saying that no Head Coach wants to come to the Saints.
He’s saying there’s people that think no good coaching candidates will want to take the job
@ Aaron Glenn , Darren Rizzi, Mike McCarthy, Anthony Weaver, Mike Kafka, wanted it. The timetable and time frame is dictated ... mostly by the league policies and rules and some of these candidates are still involved in playing games, and so that'll dictate the timing. Joe Brady, Kellen Moore, Kliff Kingsbury are still playing. I don’t think interviewing all of those candidates say that no one wants to come to New Orleans to coach the Saints. It is about the same time they took when Sean Peyton left.
Peep the comment section in any video over the last couple weeks lol
The nfl considers wins and loses a quarterback stat. When I googled which quarterback has the most wins Tom Brady popped up with 251 and that was on the nfl site, so does Tom Brady not have 251 wins?
Doesn't every player on those teams have those wins?
@JamesSkrmetta sure. I'm guessing it's like a starting pitcher in mlb. Everybody on the team should get credit for the wins and loses, but ultimately the stat goes to the pitcher for whatever reason
@ wins in the MLB have a criteria. A pitcher has to pitch a certain number of innings, has to be winning, etc.
@@JamesSkrmetta right. But even when that criteria is met shouldn't everyone that played the whole game get credit and not just the pitcher?
He probably did say it to Mickey. Everyone ain’t no coward.
He didn't mind everything (cap roster) he wanted to get things going in the right direction.. I don't believe its just Glenn disliking him.. I'm agreeing with Glenn tho it's a bad cap situation who got us there?
Doomis's head/ego will never leave
I believe he probably does have a problem with the GM because he needs to go point blank just my opinion peace and blessing
Not saying its not true. But why even take the interview? I think they kinda exaggerating what he said
GOOD JOB TJ!
This is definitely a true story, and after hearing this he may not be the black Dennis Allen after all he might actually be a real good coach and could turn around the jets

AG's comment speaks volumes...ML should go somewhere else...need a fresh look with fresh eyes...and the Saints will never change...get used to it...as long a Benson & Loomis are joined @ the hip nothing will change...enjoy...
