It only utilizes folders like the one that stores your desktop background, checks for your username (which is very easy in programming), and it knows your password because it is saved in a file on your computer (internal file) EDIT: I hadn't played the game, and many people noted out that it doesn't know your password, it accepts anything. Makes sense because the file that contains your password must be decrypted before use, so it saved the developers some time.
