I always enjoy your videos but totally understand about life challenges getting in the way of putting out content. That said, it was lovely to see your face again, sharing with us! I agree with you about season 3, by the way. It is wonderful that so many were able to completely immerse themselves in the experience, however I was not one of them. Something of the magic, of the Bridgerton quality, was missing. Dial back the modern language...and the over the top hair and makeup. (I know this is a fantasy show, but at least honor the world you've built so far!) These are all gorgeous women - they do not need layers of foundation and blush. (I'm someone who thought Penelope was naturally beautiful.) I know many disagree, and that's okay! Maybe I'm focused on tiny details because something was missing overall? Like I said, I'm so happy for those who were able to be thrilled and ecstatic this season. And finally - I'm sending you the warmest thoughts regarding your life changes!
I love Pen & Collin, but it does not move me to rewatch. I prefer season 2, but with that said, I wanted to see Penelope have the opportunity to make a choice. I wanted her to see that she had other "really" desirable alternatives. I wanted to see her struggle with choosing between two really good options - finally deciding that her friend is "the one." Once again , as with everything in her early life, she had no control
Exactly! She didn’t get the chance to explore multiple suitors like Daphne or Kate did, whose past and subtle experiences we get to see. Lord Debling should've stayed til end of season 2 to create a love triangle, and she could still end up choosing Colin in a confident healthy way. With just 8 episodes, I understand the focus on revealing Lady Whistledown, but they could’ve cut some side stories to make room for this 😅
I disagree completely but i understand its personal objective i still believe that s3 is the best season and that the chemistry between Luke and Nicola is phenomenal and they acting is amazing but it's all micro expressions instead of over exaggerated acting. I have my hates of the season but i will still more likely rewatch s3 over s2 and especially s1. I hope shonda and the writers can improve benedicts book ALOT because i HATE BOOK Benedict and in my opinion he is one of the worst book male lead however i do Love Sophie she is one of my favourite female leads 😁

I've read them all now and his book and Daphne's book are my least favourite by a country mile
I agree that season 3 wasn’t that great. I didn’t like how Colin violated her body and didn’t court her and then he took her virginity. She was so in love with him and knew nothing about relationships and intimacy. He took advantage of her and it was disgusting.
Yeah it’s a shame watching back Penelope didn’t really get the epic love story we hoped for Hopefully in the other seasons we see a much more better chemistry between them

I think S3 was bloated there were too many characters that were unnecessary but Colin didn't violate Penelope. There was consent and as for courting her, that was the whole point with friends to lovers, they didn't need the courting stage, they knew one another, it was just about moving across the friendship line and being able to see one another as potential life partners and lovers. It made sense that Colin would jump right in once he realised he loved her. The carriage scene happened because Colin was already at the marriage stage he just needed to know if she was in the same stage as him. And this happens in the books as well, they have no courting phase, they consummate before the wedding and it absolutely goes from 0-100 with them both. I love friends to lovers and this is always how it's done, I feel like people were expecting kanthony 2.0 but that's enemies to lovers and a completely different type of relationship.
@@aishaarshadalam3412 exactly the only faults I had with Polin who is my favourite couple by far is nothing to do with Nic and Luke they were Phenomenal with what they had to work with, but my faults are the lack of screen time considering it's was their season, the fact they was no flashback bothers me so damn much and I HATE the fact Colin didn't find out about LW until the last minute. Also the side stories have ALWAYS bothered me but they was so many pointless ones this season
