I felt like we had been a lot like celeste and Jesse just this comfortable break up... living together, we finally said two weeks ago... we can’t do even this comfortable thing anymore it’s really over and it’s so hard. He is still a great guy and I will always think of him with love but we are just different ppl that want different things. I always thought we were crazy for being this way for so long but this movie made me think Im not the only one who was with someone for a long time and had a very deep relationship... almost get married but fade away. Thanks Rashida and Andy for portraying how hard these moments in life truly are and for being so relatable!!!!
I am in love with this song and 'No Other Plans'. After discovering your music in the movie Celeste and Jesse Forever, that is what set the tone for how I "portray" and how I feel in these two songs. I feel like No Other Plans is the beginning of a first date, which leads to a long night together, followed by many, many nights together, falling in love and soaking in each other's companionship. Then Wild Us Out speaks to me in a tone where the relationship has come to many, many ends over and over. And this is it. This is weeks then months later where you realize...Neither of you are contacting each other. And it really is over. It is the actual point of no return where you move on, that chapter in your book of life closes and changes unravel in your life without you realizing it.
try "porcelain raft" they are also in celeste and jesse forever.... some songs worth listening to in my view are: backwards, the way in, and come closer
