Revolutionary theory is the necessary foundation to understand and change the world instead of falling into doomerism and despair.
    Important episode.

I have noticed how many marxist/left socialist parties there are*. This province of British politics is very fragmented, it seems. Is there an explanation for this?
It is even more surprising that the ideological stance taken by these groups is very similar - almost indistinguishable. Are the membership of these groups unaware of the existence of and, moreover, the similarity of other groups? Why don't they coalesce into one large group? Surely they would be more effective if they did join together.
      * and in other countries, no doubt

I don't know for uk in particular but in general, all the communist groups seem similar but once you start getting deeper you can start to see important differences that you wouldn't before. In all the communist groups there are, I have not seen any other party that is this serious about theory and it shows in the succes it is having right now. Some small groups have attempted to fuse with us but they wanted to have faction rights. Basically fuse with us because they are incapable of growing by themselfs and keep their wrong ideas that made them incapable of growing. What use are they to us.
When judging a party, it is easy to just look at the quantity if it's members. But I would say it is even more important to look at the quality of it's members. For example, the bolshevik in early 1917 had about 8000 members. Compared to the german spd who had in 1912 more than 1 million members, the bolsheviks were a tiny insignificant party. And yet, the bolsheviks managed to create a worker state while the SPD fell to reformism and paved the way for fashism.

Trotsky led the Red Army. When was the last time you heard a Trotskyist explain the theory of forming a military to defeat the Imperialists... They never do because that would require them to actually do something.

If you look at history, you would notice that there is a vast amount of revolutionnaries who constantly do something and end up doing nothing.
In this party we apply the bolshevik method of building a party so if this is doing nothing to you, I guess you are saying Lenin, Trotsky and the bolsheviks did nothing until power fell into their lap. Next time try making an actual argument based on what we say instead of speaking out of your ass.

Have you noticed people flee communism for capitalism, but no one flees capitalism for China, Cuba, North Korea etc?

China is imperialist & Cuba’s communist democracy got overthrown by a CIA backed dictator. Yet, I know many businesses ran not for profit & people sick of these capitalist wars who wish there was a better system than capitalists stealing profits.

Those countries are not communist, and even if they were it's not even possible to escape capitalism by moving to a "communist" country in the first place. The world market is stronger than the will of any nation, which is why international revolution is so essential.
With that said, to no-ones surprise your simplistic view does not align with the facts. People immigrate to those countries all the time. Cuba is a popular place to retire to. China sees a lot of immigration given that it is the second most important capitalist economy on the planet. Even North Korea has an estimated 200 Westerners living in it according to researcher Andray Abrahamian, mostly diplomats, educators and humanitarian aid workers. Historically speaking as well, there were many people who fled capitalist countries for the USSR. For example, many African-Americans left the US for the USSR in order to escape racism. It's not that difficult to verify any of this.

Every single one of the millions of refugees from climate catastrophe and war in our time is fleeing from capitalism. Or rather, the horrors that it causes, but there is no way to escape capitalism today, because it exists everywhere. The CCP, while waving a communist flag, are just as much a party of capitalism as the Democrats and the Republicans, or Labour and the Tories. In fact, the CCP has more millionaires in their party than all of those other parties combined!
So your point doesn't really make sense. Where is this communist society? Where can I go where there is no state, where money isn't needed anymore, where there are no more class differences because everyone are living comfortable lives as equals without any need to exploit one another? I'd love to flee there. I hate living under capitalism. Please, tell me where it is and I'll go there in a heartbeat.

@invalidopinion5384 lol 200 westerners moved to NK...ok. Millions of Chinese, Cubans etc fled to America. But that aside. Don't you want economic freedom? Do you think if the state owns the means of producing you'd have all these products to choose from? In capitalism the bread waits on you, in communism you wait on the bread. It's been tried many times and always ends in poverty and tyranny.

@@joshanderson3640 what is capitalism for the vast majority besides poverty and tyranny? Where's the economic freedom for the poor? At least in the system you wrongly describe as "communism" you starve when there is no bread, in capitalism you starve even when there's so much bread the global population could never eat it all. But hey, at least those who can afford to eat get to choose between several different brands of bread all owned by the same few megacorporations
