Thanks , thanks , thanks 🙏 for this amazing interviews I hope it will stay in RUclips hundreds and hundreds years. Because there is wonderful wise teachers like Warren Buffet
We are so fortunate to be alive at a time we can watch and learn valuable life lessons from someone like Warren Buffett. Fantastic interview. Wedging occasional climate change questions in were a bit odd and out of place however.
This is April 14th 2022, Buffett was 91. Just after the Fed started its rate hikes from 0.25% to 5.50%, while stocks and bonds went into bear market. It's before Berkshire Hathaway's YEN carry trade, before liquidating 50% of their AAPL holdings and before BH was sitting on $270B of short term Treasury bills with nothing attractive for Berkshire in the market as of Aug 2024.
One of the most dry but interesting interviews with Charlie Rose. I absolutely admire Buffett's candid responses as he does not want to surmise the unknowns. "I have nothing of value to add to this topic." - Buffett... and Charlie Rose still tries to prod for an answer to no avail. Tsk tsk. Buffett at 91 is the GOAT of Wall St.
Buffett’s insights on long-term investment strategies, the importance of understanding the intrinsic value of companies, and his disciplined approach to decision-making provide invaluable lessons for both novice and seasoned investors. The discussion is really beneficial for achieving financial success. Buffett prefers continuous learning and adapting to market changes, that he really did as Charlie showed him the quality investing.
Great advice to buy companies instead of stocks. What has worked well for me is to buy funds that are managed well and cover an entire market or a sector. Much easier and takes less expertise to evaluate a fund than a company. Furthermore, some level of dividend payments helps with being patient.
The title says 2024 yet this video is a year old and we have had 3 months so far in 2024. So therefore I jump to the conclusion that the title is misleading to remain relevant for the next year .
Mr Warren Buffet😁😁 Mr Charlie Rose 🙂magic both i'm also earlier it's 5.30 i'm awake since more than 30 mn and reading the media 🙂🙂🙂🙂no warming local nor warming seat 1 degree few empathy simpathy end support squared smile
I follow Ben Graham investment philosophy over the last 10 years. I bought Conoco philip at 60, traveller's at 117 and Goldman Sachs at 223 all three have increase 95 to 100 %
Mr Warren Buffet Mr Charlie Rose i'm also earlier including the weekend maybe i merit your friendship your support your empathy your sympathy the brave man payed his home during 20 years today an ant with two crutches evicted from his home no crime committed or will be committed clean criminal record a forced sale at 50 % of my home counter expertise refused la rafle des notables 1940
Buffett is to politically correct thats why I like Charlie Munger more,Charlie Rose was struggling to get his view on recent geo/political events sigh.
He keeps laughing when theres nothing funny to laugh about, seems like his mind is going. He doesanswer important questions either, 50 minutes of my life waisted...
Warren buffet obviously was a genius but he is starting to loosing it, I will never trust him with a penny these days. And Berkshire is not much without him, great interview 😊😊😊
Wrong analogy on the part from buffet trying to compare now days living standards to 200 years ago living standards, I thought he was smarter than that. It’s like saying 200 years ago there was organic milk available but now only those who can afford can drink the organic milk or 200 years ago there was no pollution but now there is pollution created by man, just buffet making wrong analogy. Do not compare my living standards with those in history.😮
So...according to Buffett, people living in sewers and tent towns now are better off than Rockefeller was 🙄🤷🏻♂️ and apparently he didn't look at the statistics that say half the country make less than 30k. Buffett should stick to discussion on buying and selling shares (oh..excuse me, businesses 🙄) because clearly he doesn't know anything else.
Average professional salary globally is closer to $12k. $30k is reserved for the best. The janitor in America makes what the rocket scientist makes in most other countries. That is one thing Buffet has in mind, America's mind boggling mass material wealth comparatively to most of the world. Buffet knows so much more than you do that your brain is unable to process his message. Don't project your limitations on him.
Warren buffett is the real life yoda

😂
Such a positive and moral man
Uhm I like him too, but moral ? Can’t a top billionaire without aggressiveness.
Obviously you’re not talking about Charlie Rose.
Thanks , thanks , thanks 🙏 for this amazing interviews I hope it will stay in RUclips hundreds and hundreds years. Because there is wonderful wise teachers like Warren Buffet
Wow! Talking about a man who really loves his country. A real PATRIOT. My God! I am beyond awe! Powerful stuff.
I like who Mr. Buffett is as a person. His sister, Doris, was enormously kind, too. I am grateful for the Buffetts.
Always enjoyed Charlie's interviews. He is really very good. Hope we see more of him. On TV, that is.
Yeah, sorry, not gonna happen =/
@@DASSANTAMARIA why? did he retire?
Some hope we see less of him
@@12345krillin
No. He was fired from PBS over 2 decades of sexual harassment.
Warren sees through illusions and self-deception that happens with wealth. That’s why he’s so trustworthy and cool.
I think Warren Buffet is one of the most amazing men in our world! I never met him but would I have ever loved to 💕🙏🤗
You can still meet him.
My mentor in investing 😊

I love charlie Rose what a magnificent reporter
Thank GOD 🙏 CHARLIE ROSE IS BACK Baby.😆👍👍👍👍👍
This is not a good thing.
We don’t need people like him.

Warren is not Wall St.
I could not care less.
I think that Charlie Rose looks really happy during that interview. I like his demeanour. Not dry at all 👁️
Thanks
A true legend in every way!!!!

I love both of you men.
I never trust a person that doesn't ever allow you to finish a question. I've always been right.
He's aged 90.. Let him speak! Haha! 😂
I never trust a person who says He has always been right.
If Buffett doesn't care about stock prices, why does he watch cnbc stock news every morning?
To see if the prices on the shares he bought have gone down…so he can buy more 😊
We cleaned, sang and danced outside Warrens house 🏠. We hope he does one of those things more.
He's a good man.
A great, kind and intelligent person
This man is my legend for ever

I dont think in all my years I have ever heard such a straight shooter as Warren. He gives me faith in capitalism
Tim Cook is not a great manager he is however a great promoter Steve Jobs was the great manager.
Charlie Rose UNCANCELED!
From a Billionaire to a Millionaire, life is good folks. We'll use this man's fund's and pay for our endless war's. Sounds good to me.

That not a lot. That’s less than the sandp
But I haven't lost any money, rule number 1 and rule number 2.
"I like being trusted by people "
You can meet him at the annual meeting--just need some BRK shares and a reservation.
Hi. Warren… Big hug
So much success that Warren has achieved is due to discipline and emotional savvy.

Warren is as cool as a man can get.
I admire him very much

Don't even talk about WW3 ? No wonder we are doomed. Hopefully these good men will live to see what happens
Buffet is a typical American...ignore it if you know NOTHING about it...and have ZERO curiosity about it.
Cannot be 2024 as Munger died in 2023
This is warren buffet. Not Charlie munger
