I wish they showed all of the tributes’ faces and said their names aloud (their names were listed in the book). It would’ve made the games feel more personal, knowing each tribute had a name at least (unlike the 74th games).

I wonder how long they had Capitol citizens be mentors to Tributes after the events in this movie before they decided to make previous Hunger Games Victors be mentors? I can't even imagine how mentors like Haymitch felt about having to teach newer generations of tributes how to survive the Hunger Games. It's like Snow was purposefully making previous Victors have to relive their traumas all over again as a way to keep control over them.
Interesting they did the reaping in reverse order from the book. The end of chapter 1 they start with District 12 first and do it that way of Coriolanus getting hit with the gut wrenching news of where he got picked.
This movie was awesome. It might be a prequel to our world if a certain candidate gets elected, couldn't have been better timing. The political references are awesome too such as 1984 / Big Brother, or Fahrenheit 451, the cameras and the TV's Burn Gornan was also stunning in this film too, on fire as always 😊
