King is a SPECTACULAR Belgian Gelding. He is clearly a classic puller, as one can see based on his structure -- specifically the mass of his chest and neck. What a specimen !!!

Someone will need to teach that one young man that you don't whip pulling horses. Trained pullers don't need whipped. They pull by sheer will and desire.

Sone of the strongest teams I've ever seem were trained of the driver chirping too em, some guys use the reigns on the ass, some guys push the rump so physically you think it's a 3 horse pull, everyone does different

Deerfield fair has the best free for all division I remember seeing over 20k pulled and my gramps was there when they ran outta blocks and had about 10 guys on the boat it was something like 28k

Very true ...someone should invent a spring set up for when they hook the team it doesn't shock them when they go for it

These horses are Belgians -- the lighter, more blonde type (lighter colored body and whitish mane) vs the classic combination of a chestnut colored body with blonde mane (much more "yellow").
