    I live in Atlanta now. I’m from Westchester county. From my perspective the people are different, slower paced, customer service is not great, if you have kids with special needs like I do, NYC is top notch and so is Healthcare.

    You can do a lot of things in NYC in 1 day, all you need to do is use the subway system. Driving in NYC is really not smart if you need to cover many grounds

    I recently moved to Atlanta from Queens, New York and you are so on point with Atlanta not having Deli’s and Bodegas! That was one of the first things I noticed here in Atlanta. The reason I moved to Atlanta was for change and wanted to purchase a home. It’s much more affordable here. I’ve always had a car because I lived in Queens and worked on Long Island so I’m used to driving. Also I do notice even though mostly everywhere I go I need a car, I also notice the speed limits here lol. Super quick getting places due to mostly everyone drives 80mph or faster. I guess that’s because unlike New York, most highways here are interstates and not parkways like the belt pkwy or cross island pkwy. I’m loving it so far and I have no regrets. By the way I live in the West End and I’m so happy with the decision to move to this area.

    I really think people who are moving down here to Atlanta should really visit the Surrounding Counties outside of Atlanta ( Cobb County ) to its the best area to live considering all factors that were discussed in this video and you are 15 to 30 minutes from Atlanta. Cobb County has a very big diverse environment and all the restaurants Atlanta does not have. Cobb County is the way to go in my opinion. I have been here all my life and have stay in all of the Metro area Cobb is the best place to live

    I’m moving to Atlanta it to be honest, it feels a little daunting to me because it’s not as convenient and we’re able to be out any time of day/night and feel somewhat safe vs most places in America that’s a ghost town after 7 pm. I’m also concerned about salary

    • @SamMcKinley
      @SamMcKinley Год назад

      If you want convenient in Atlanta one of the inside neighborhoods like Midtown, East Atlanta or Buckhead May suit you. It is a car city unfortunately. Train and buses are limited but pretty good for the South

  • @SamMcKinley

    You can’t even compare the two. Atlanta has some of the culture and food and is getting better in those areas. Housing is mostly brand new. NYC has great architecture but when it comes to living the housing SuCKS.

      Describe “culture” in the USA….hilarious comment and GA has amazing architecture with its colonial antibellum style historic homes in places like Savannah or in small historic neighborhoods

    • @SamMcKinley
      @SamMcKinley 11 месяцев назад

      I misunderstood the comment! Why is everything a a penis comparison on the internet. You CanNot compare. Totally different. NYC has more nationalities on one street than entire cities. Much of Atlanta was destroyed in the Civil War so many of the older properties were destroyed. Atlanta’s housing it better for the cost. Atlanta has parking which is difficult in NYC.

      Atlanta outshines NYC when it comes to attractions?!!! I'd like to know. And don't list anything that's NOT in Atlanta. The surrounding counties are NOT Atlanta. If you want to include the surrounding counties then I guess it's ok to expand NYCs boundaries to include New Jersey, and upstate New York. Other than the Beltline, which will be a crown jewel Atlanta attraction when totally complete, there's NOTHING that Atlanta has that outshines NYC.
