Scratching using the Ahhhh and Fresh sound is getting as tired as D&B and the Amen break. Nothing major has happened since yr 2000 tbh. It was an incredibly original concept at birth and has had an interesting journey. Some of the earlier cuts are still cool but most modern djs lack the personality of the past. Today I cannot tell an amateur from a pro as they all use the same techniques.
