May 31st, 2024 Bed time & morning turnout, except they won't get off the roost?

I had live trapped a raccoon overnight and the neighbor's chickens had seen it in the trap and sounded their alarm at 6am. My girls heard this, too, and were very unsettled. It didn't dawn on me that they were looking for the "danger" they were told about from the other chickens. 🤦‍♀️ I didn't have time to wait for them to get down as I had to get ready for work. No raccoons were harmed or unalived, if you were worried about that. 😁
