Bondi Rescue follows the work of the elite professional Lifeguards who patrol Australia’s busiest beach. This is Australia’s real life Baywatch! Taking the viewers on their journey through mass rescues, drownings, resuscitations, shark sightings, and all number of the weird and wonderful experiences Bondi Beach dishes up.
In #BondiRescue the audience sees the action through the eyes of real characters and #lifeguards like Hoppo, Deano, Reidy, Jesse, Maxi, Whippet and Harries, as they catch thieves, perform CPR, make drug busts, break up fights, and even handle a navy bomb that washes ashore one afternoon. i'll never forget the episode of terry saving the young girl and talking about how he lost one of his own kids :'(
He’s been reunited with him
Same. I don't know how many times I've seen that snippet of footage, and Terry 's reaction makes me bawl like a baby. Every. Time.

I remember that episode as well. He was so genuine. You can see the concern for people and love for his job. It was evident.

I didn't know he had died at all since I've seen him in a lot of their vids and I thought he's been in fairly recent ones unless those were actually old or old footage release later

I spent around 7 months in the hospital with covid in 2021. I wasn't supposed to make it. A less than 10% chance with a ventilator and ecmo. I was running out of the will and strength to keep pushing. Then I found this show. I watched it anytime I was awake in my room. It became the one thing I enjoyed and looked forward to. All that to say, he saved at least 1 other life that wasn't even in the water of Bondi from thousands of miles away. They may never know it, but these guys are heroes to me. I wouldn't have made it without them.

A few years ago I was sick with covid. Tired, feverish, and miserable: Bondi Rescue was the one thing that kept my spirits up as I recovered. I hope they know how many lives they've touched.

I am from Canada and I have been following the video series for few years. Each member of the lifeguard’s team is important and will be remembered through the videos. No matter how many times I watch this, I still get a lump in my throat and teary-eyed. We miss you, Terry. RIP.
I actually remember him really well.
I learnt to surf around Norah head area and he was a bit of a legend in the 80s and 90s into the 00s. He was a great surfer and lifeguard. I can remember him training for the Hawaiian sea paddling he competed in. He would paddle his board from Norah head boat ramp around bird island and back. He was a champion of a person who put alot more into the community than most people will ever realise

Bondi I just lost my dad on March 25th I have been extremely depressed I miss my dad everyday.
I will never meet the Bondi lifeguards but I really wish the best for all of them in life. Thank you Terry. And thank you to all the lifeguards out there giving your time and had spent/spending your lives doing this. Rest In Peace and Love Mr Terry.

I can't describe how upset i am about Terry's passing. This tribute is so indicative of the people of that country and that's throughout the years they have never shied away from showing their emotions.... It's always had this human touch.... Terry was amazing and is now with his son in riding the waves with him... Terry was one who I wanted to meet he was a fantastic lifeguard but a fantastic human being. Saving a life is one of the greatest things you can do and he did it with pride,passion and love for people.
