You could easily summarize everything about this man with his last 5 words of this video :D
*random godly advanced playing*
*"y-yeah so thats like-warming up"* rEaLlY sImPlE
sourcegamer101 he meant that’s a really simple warm up piece he just showed us so we can swallow. His warmups must be way more complicated
First video I see of John where he actually explain how he places his fingers on the bridge + pick holding + pick angle. That is the most instructing thing I've learned from him in 30s.
Still can't work it out lol
3:22 Mean Street riff by Van Halen 💯
anyone else notice how ADHD JP is when he starts playing? lol it's like he forgets he's supposed to be teaching guitar xD reminds me of myself honestly.
Nicest guy in music. ❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
That's hard almost everyone is so nice 😮!!! That's why musicians are the best
@@andreskosberg4566 not really.
John, turn the effects down brother!
the god had spoken
I LOVE JP
Lmao, a natural little cave. JP the Master!
Needs more effects.
Anyone has the tab for this excercise?
Hey man what you trying to show us here , who do you think you are ..
Petrucci ;
Lol he played mean streat
needs more reverb and delay 😂
3:12 Now your just showing off 😓😓😓😭😭😭😭
Turn the fucking delay off.
His technique and tone has gotten a lot worse over the years... He was at his best in the second half of the nineties and around the scenes from a memory tour... But still I would kill for this guitar...
I was about to say something similar. I feel like his picking is suffering these day, his left hand seems fine though.
James Russo Exactly
Petrucci has forgotten more than you'll ever know. He has nothing to prove to you or anyone. Get over yourself.
You must have been to a different live show for The Astonishing and Dream Theater tours than I was. Certainly nothing suffering as far as I could see and hear!
Thomas Schafer I've been following Petrucci for years, that's why I noticed his technique get more sloppy over time
