Song of the Month with Backing track - "Blue Bossa" ...a Latin style Jazz standard - Guitar lesson

- My Song of the month in March is Blue Bossa!
The song Blue Bossa is a classic jazz standard written by Kenny Dorham. It´s common to play it in Bossa Nova style but in my version it´s more of a Samba.
I´ll give tips on basic soloing scales to use and also the 7th chord tones to the chords in the song which I always recommend to practice. These and some phrasing tips is in the text with the backing track included in the video.
When playing jazz guitar and jazz music in general this song is a very good song to learn.

That is really fast and fluently played. One of my first jazz tunes as a bassplayer. I am not sure but I think the guitarists gave me a tape of a Pat Martino recording of that song.

What an upbeat Samba!!! Beside proving your technical proficiency (we already knew that), I've noticed your specific sense for melody when playing Latin style...This song best version (to me at least)is late G.Moore 'borrowing' chords and melody for "Parisienne Walkways". Bravo again!
