Just start with something simple. When I started, I laced everything together because I didn't have a sewing machine. I made checkbooks for everybody in my family. I recommend Acadia Leather for your leather. They have the best prices.
Well, your social media strategy is working. 😃 Not quite sure why you popped up in my RUclips suggested list, but I'm in need of a new leather folio for work and seeing your craftsmanship makes a pretty compelling value proposition! Do you ship internationally? I'm in Sydney, Australia Many thanks.
Thank you for the comment and you're welcome. I don't dye the leather. It's called Katahdin Crazyhorse and it's part of a line with very strong pull-up contrasts.
No I don't, but I based the size off of a standard padfolio I bought as cheaply as possible off Amazon. The interior I designed myself over a few iterations.
Absolutely stunning piece😍
Phenomenal work!!
Do you offer a step by step for this?
This is so satisfying to watch. thank you for your content.
Thanks!
wow. i wish i had the same skill. you are amazing.
Very nice Sir. I would like to start this as a hobby. I don't know where to start. Nice work and great video!

Yes, I've shipped several items to Australia but it isn't cheap. Thanks for the comment!
Damn that looks good! Any way to had a clipboard to refill pages?
Excellent work, I am jealous! May I ask: what is the stiffener/lining you used early in the construction, and what sewing machine do you use?
Thanks for the comment. The stiffener panels are mat board as used in picture framing. The machine is a clone of the Adler 205-370.
@@noogaleatherworks1397 Do you know what thickness the boards are? Thanks.
What type of leather did you use for exterior and interior?. Are they 3 to 4 oz or thicker? Thank you for the great video!!
I used a 4.5-5.0 oz chrome tanned hide for the exterior and a 2.0 oz chrome tanned hide for the interior.
what model stitching machine did you use?
Woodrow Star III an Adler 205-370
What type of glue did you use?
Thanks for making the videos. I like the color on your leather, do you dye it yourself? Any name on the color?

do you sell the pattern for this?

Nice, I like it.
Thank you.
