- I was taking advantage of the built in split coil switch on this guitar. It definitely goes from a Les Paul to a Strat in a click this thing is so versatile !

I've always been in love with this sound. It's hypnotizing to me, it's one of the things that makes me desperately want an Axe-FX.
Could we hear you play the Master of Puppets Interlude next time you do a clean tone video? It's my favorite Metallica piece to test a clean tone and see if the high end is buzzy instead of clear.
You can get bias fx 2 and an irig 2 for less than 100 dollars rn

@@gallettiguitartones I guess I should have said "honky". Sometimes I have to fiddle with my amp's Channel 1 settings since it's a modeler, and the clean tones can get as ugly as they can get pretty.
It seems like I'm always tweaking it, and it can get really abrasive in the high end but I can't roll the treble off too much or else it loses it's clarity. It's a big dilemma, but I put up with it by just not picking too hard.
@@scv-raw2071 I wouldn't touch Bias with a barge pole. I haven't heard anything good about it when it's compared to Axe FX and the Helix, and I'd rather get my money's worth as opposed to "just another" sim.
On the exact opposite end of the spectrum I've read and heard nothing but amazing things about the Axe-FX, and Nic's videos only serve as more evidence as to why I should save for an Axe-FX instead.
Also, uh.. As a general rule of thumb, if it's directly related to your rig and it costs less than $100, you're probably looking at a pretty lackluster product.

I believe that's what he has right there. Not sure entirely what a "coil tap" is, but I do know that has a split coil switch. "from a Les Paul to a Strat in a click" as Heavymetalcat describe it.
@@dominiccampbell7227 ohhhhh, coil tap is basically pulling up or down on either your tone knob or your volume knob, switches it from humbucker to single coil. Rob Scallon’s signature guitar has it

@@dominiccampbell7227 Coil tap is an improper term to describe the silencing of one coil. Coil split is the appropriate word.

now, I'm yet to watch the video but if you're gonna brag about diling in the cleanest tone ever then you'll better be bringing some good shit to the table cause let me tell you I've seen my fair share and that's gonna be hard to beat
take away a few highs, crank up a bit the lows and add a little echo and that's literally the tone I've been looking after my whole 6 years of playing... i can't say anything you stuck to your word
