The best HUD will be one that you build yourself. There is so much value to figuring out which stats YOU really use, rather than just taking someone's layout. Building it yourself will help you find out what stats need to stay, be added, removed, and eventually you will have a great one. I build my hud on my own, its been 4 or 5 revisions until i really got it the way i like it. And i used a different hud for tournaments than i do for cash games.
This is something you have to learn to do on your own. I was never too efficient in 2p2 so i stayed away from it. But the information mentioned in this video should be enough of a starting point for you to find your ideal way to navigate thru there.

Gripsed Listening to any music actives the ability to increase learning, the only thing is that modern music plays at about 121-130 bpm which is distracting and hence why we enjoy listening to it over other music. Whilst Classical music plays at around 60bpm which activates the brain the same way but also slow enough for the brain to process without distracting your attention. Also no lyrics generally occur with classical which adds to the effect.

Congrats mate!! Been playing poker myself or just over 2 years.. so probably been watching your videos for around 2 years now.. not sure when i first subscribed, but i remember watching you "how to make 1k in 45mins etc" by far the best FREE poker tutorials out there. Can definitely see an improvement in your videos since them earlier ones though... much more informative, also like the idea that youve made your self an appearance in the vids. GL with future success.
I don't necessarily find the 'content overload' part at the end true. I think that ingesting all of that information is still better than not at all, on the basis that the reason you probably didn't understand & retain anything is because it was directed in a language style you don't easily learn from or you needed to learn it in a different format (i.e. books/videos/f2f) - (or you needed to learn something else first, but that's a different discussion). I find if I information-overload I will 'forget' things, but subconsciously they actually do lodge, so that when the information is presented to me again in a different format I learn more quickly because my brain automatically refers back to the last time I learnt it and because of the combined methods of learning my understanding is much higher.
Depending on the size of the field and the quality of the players, you should be able to cash 15-25% of the time or so. To increase your win ratio you have to play a style that's focused on getting ALL the chips rather than easing your way up the payout structure. Play aggressively but don't play recklessly, there's a fine line between the two!

25c sounds like a better option. You want to play at a limit that gives you more buyins so that you can withstand variance. If you started witih 50c nl that's only 5 buyins!

I read Kill Everyone (the book after Kill Phil) and i think that gives a lot of good insight getting into winning habits, the math and ICM models etc to be applied in SNG's. Also having videos of team Gripsed tournament wins / cashes were really a great idea and i found them helpful in tuning my game discipline in longer structure MTT's. I subbed to your channel as you provide some of the best current info on poker i have seen on youtube. Good luck mate.

I'm reading and about 1/3 through each of "Theory of Poker", "Kill Everyone", and "Every Hand Revealed" and watched the 2007 Aussie Millions on youtube. It's mind-bogglingly powerful stuff. have been watching all your videos since the start and they are all great. I hope your youtube/facebook/site get going good and you continue to bring in more viewers. I also appreciate the amount of effort in these videos. The only thing itching at the back of my mind is: if he can make $ playing poker, why is he trying to make an income through videos/tutorials/? etc which leaves room for doubt.

Great videos evan!! so glade i found this:D... do u think you could do a concept list? in order of importance that we should study them? like study SPR for a week, then study how to play AK the next week, or 3/4bet bluffing, re stealing, playing against stack sizes ect. i really don't know what to master or work on first... im a 10Nl grinder with a 3bb/100 W/R(75khands) and i really want to master concepts before a move up. like you said in this vid ive only been doing 35% of the top pyramid :S

But you say that Pokerstove is a vital program to have, and i am almost sure i have seen you use it when playing on Pokerstar as well. i just tryed it out and got a warning that i should shut it down or i would not be able to play on there site anymore. and i do like Pokerstar. ;) so just in future tell that it is not all pokersites that allow the use of 3'rd part software. I got a "meta" question: is there really a lot of money to be made in poker anymore? I played casually in 2011 and placed no 1 in a few tournaments and earned a few thousand dollars. Then I didn't have time to grind/was to prone to tilt away money and only started up again a month ago and it feels like the field is much much tougher. I usually make it to top 8% but havent had any big cash outs all month. I know poker was 10 times easier pre-2009 ish, but what about now?

Great videos evan!! so glade i found this:D... do u think you could do a concept list? in order of importance that we should study them? like study SPR for a week, then study how to play AK the next week, or 3/4bet bluffing, re stealing, playing against stack sizes ect. i really don't know what to master or work on first... im a 10Nl grinder with a 3bb/100 W/R(75khands) and i really want to master concepts before a move up. like you said in this vid ive only been doing 35% of the top pyramid :S

Do you think it's possible to be profitable playing tourneys or SNGs without a HUD? I have PokerTracker and used to use it but I stopped and I'm actually a better player now.

But you say that Pokerstove is a vital program to have, and i am almost sure i have seen you use it when playing on Pokerstar as well. i just tryed it out and got a warning that i should shut it down or i would not be able to play on there site anymore. and i do like Pokerstar. ;) so just in future tell that it is not all pokersites that allow the use of 3'rd part software.

My Question to you, on my quest to re-build a bankroll lets say I invest $250.00 what stakes would you advise.... Could I play 1 table 25c-50c and 2 tables 10c-25c .. and low risk grind a profit

I got a "meta" question: is there really a lot of money to be made in poker anymore? I played casually in 2011 and placed no 1 in a few tournaments and earned a few thousand dollars. Then I didn't have time to grind/was to prone to tilt away money and only started up again a month ago and it feels like the field is much much tougher. I usually make it to top 8% but havent had any big cash outs all month. I know poker was 10 times easier pre-2009 ish, but what about now?
