Een aantal keren erbij geweest voor assistentie. Het is inderdaad een hele mooie job. Geweldig om die jongens weer te zien op deze opnamen nu ik zelf met pensioen bent.
We did a similar task - replacing the mounting bolts of the consoles to the center section.

Why didn’t they just replace the liongeron? I understand the is an AD about them cracking . Why the need for a doubler.

That’s a huge job. I wonder what was wrong with the old longeron they removed.
At 1:50 you can see that there are cracks in the longeron holes.
How long does it take to replace the longeron ? The entire process?
It takes about 3 weeks for both sides. Not working in night shifts and also not in weekends.

Not probes. Cleco fasteners.
