I love it when monza and milano win. They play my type of volleyball. Scrappy but interesting especially for neutral.

It's inconsistency of overall performance. At this level when you drop off even on one aspect of the game for a moment you get punished, that's why they win sets some Dominantly but they do lose a lot too. But hey, they are a treat to volleyball fans.

@@MarxZeff I also think it's because they simply do not have as much fire power as the other teams. Same as Monza. They have to make it into a scrappy kind of game. It's really tough to ask them to dominate Trento or Piacenza or Perugia in a straight side-out battle when both team is in rhythm

At this level of play against teams like Trentino and Perugia, who heavily rely on consistency and making the rhythm of the game their way, inconsistency and shooting for a 5 set game for Milano and Monza gives them a chance to win. Since Milano and Monza do not have the firepower to blast through, they have to rely on scrambling. It’s not cause they like to scramble, it’s just inconsistency overall. Towards the end of the season, they are just using that method and it’s been working so no complaints 😊
