Why are you not using PanPastels to create the under layer of all your drawings? You mentioned in a previous video that you can have the same results as using coloured pencils only but done much quicker.
Hi Gemma, do you swap your paper based on material you use, or the subject, or at the request of the commissioner or any other factor? I prefer mix media paper but for mix media task (usually w/c pencils + colored pencil + some acrylic marker... maybe some pastel pencil mix in...) but it's hard to get the same texture as in bristol paper (or maybe it's just in my head). The paper I'm fond of at the moment are the Clairefontaine-PaintON. High quality paper are hard and expensive to get here locally. I know you always stressed on getting good quality paper. So, what's your opinion on this?

isn’t it better to use Polychromos to paint texture like hair? or are you using the prismas to put color quicker?
